Overseas Utau you Like?

SO. I think there was a thread like this on the OLD OU, and it got killed because people flamed it or whatever.
So, there really should be a thread where we can discuss what we like in an utau, what could be worked on, and stuff.

But, to keep this SANE and not a HATEFEST, there's gotta be rules. D:

Don't just go around flaming liek OMG. UR UTAU SuXoRZ, I HAET DEM.
Be nice about it. im not saying sugarcoat, but tell said person what they could fix in their utau. We're a community, not a pack of wild animals. We need to stick up for eachother.

So, anyways, to start off, I love Aido Feirune. His triphones are godly. c; but I say that alot.

I like them too. Personally, though, I liked his old triphones more than his new ones. The breathiness made them sound smoother. :3

Anaka Blythe is a good UTAU, but I think her triphones need a bit of work. They just stick out a bit too much.
Also, her voice is just a bit too soft.

Yeah, Aido's OLD triphone bank was amazing. I liked that better than the new one. D:
I liked softness in utaus.

On another note, I always loved the smoothness in Kanane Hitori's voice. She sounds real nice, and has a lovely design too.

Oh yes, very nice design. The voice is great. :D

I like Amagaku, Kanane Hitori, Neko Kanochi, and Kazune Yoshi.

Not so hot about most of the popular guys (I find them rather annoying to listen to, actually), not including Chikune Kenta and Tony Yonne. Kenta is so much fun to listen to.

OH YEAH and PSS is the best. Michiyo's voice is so prettyyyyy

I hope Mathieu is excluded in your annoying list ;____;... I like most UTAUs but my favorites are Kikyuune Aiko, Kanochi Neko, Deon, Tony, Midori, and many more~ XD

Again, I'm veeeeeeeery picky. So, uh, utaus that I would actually download a song of would be Kazuko. And Camila. Neko is nice as well.

I don't like triphonics sooooooo. They always sound slurred and I dislike that, yes I do.

@Crossfrown; Uh, aren't' they the popular guys o wo;; I mean, you think male utau and those come to mind.

Personally I do not like her voice. It's just too soft+high for my tastes. Also, it rather annoys me. I like a nice strong voice.

Which brings me to my next point, I love Ai Kotone. One of the easiest to use voice banks I have ever downloaded, also he doesn't receive enough use. He is well recorded and has a huge range and a flawless genderbend.

My favorite UTAU is Luna Ichine.
I just love her voice.
I also like Aiko Kikyuune and Mayu Amakune.

Aoi Hatsun: her voice is SO FUCKING HIGH-PITCHED AND SQUEAKY, but I love her because it doesn't get annoying ;3;

Yue Nagareboshi, Mathieu Rosaire and Tsuya Yoruno: My favorite, 100% male UTAUloids (I know that sound really sexist lol), I love their voices and designs too :D

Also I like Mayu Amakune and Shura Kirane.

I dunno if I can comment about voices that I don't like too much, i.e. Stella Hoshine, her Spanish accent is very notorious and it doesn't sound "good" like Aline's...
but anyways I think she's adorable for being a 20-year-old XD

Maybe it's just the female popular ones I don't like then...? I can't think of anyone popular off the top of my head. I was there when the top users started, then vanished until now, so I'm not really too informed.

Or maybe I just have an obsession with male banks. Out of everything, the ones I get addicted to are male.

Mathieu is a great voicebank, but doesn't really attract my interest. *likes clear&strong voice types*


Hmmm, what else...Utaune Nami, while eye-rollingly unoriginal in name, is a super amazing UTAU. *v*

Hmm my favorite female UTAU is Miru Takane, since she broke the Korea/Japan barrier in the UTAU community first. (and plus her voice is really cute~ *u*/)

I don't really have a favorite male UTAU, last time I listened to them they were really roboticy. @AX; (So I gave up hope, ahaaa;)

My favorite female UTAU in the English speaking community is either Camila or Nami. Camila gives overseas users at nico a good name, and Nami, despite her odd name (Hiragana between Kanji- X^X; is a really well made utau as well.

My favorite ones are Kazune Yoshi, Kurane Zanda and Chii tomero

I really like the clearness and the strength in Mahou Yuki's voice. And she's pleasing to listen to~

As far as voices go, I could listen to Hayao and/or Kazuko all dang day. I LOVE their voices, so smooooth and pretty. ;A; General character-wise, I like Aline, Seiya, RAI, and SHOICHIRO a lot. |D;;

Ichiro Makune, Hachi Makune, Lavan Ash, Chikune Kenta, Tesuto Komoru, Persephone Heartless, Helena Ayatsune... Uhh.. Kazune Yoshi, Hayao...

Siena Kotone! I really like her voice since I think it's very pretty. x3 I also really like Yufu, Defoko, and Nami. (I have more favorites but I can't name them all x3 )

I have to say I'll like any UTAU, as long as it has a well-tuned oto.

On specific UTAUs, I really like Utaune Nami alot. Despite her surname's kanji spelling, her voice has such a high quality, and Nami has a very cute design. I also like Kenji (though that's a given since I'm #7 in the Kenji Harem xD) because his voice is.... yes. Just yes. And Ura Mero Houjuune, too. Mainly because her voicer is one of my best IRL friends :D but also because Ura (besides having a long name that I like typing out in full xD) has a very nice voice and a pretty design.
