UTARAN.

IS FAIL.

SOOOO, you know how every new bank with a link is supposed to get into the utaran?

Luna, though she had an adequate VB link, and was posted 3 months ago, has not been in utaran once. at all.

I wanted to know if there was anything that may have made her not eligible to be in utaran, or if the nicochu just hate her. idk.

Any help would be naisu.

The same thing happened to Hana.

Firstly, check to make sure that "music" is a permanent category along with "UTAU".

Secondly, it's very likely they just miss voicebanks.

So what to do? Post another video with Luna. In the description, complain that she wasn't in the UTAUran. She should come up in the next one attached with an apology for not including her.

They never posted Deon in the newcomer section, either. In the meanwhile, they acknowledged Richard, who is Ariella's genderbent, and mentioned Kazuko as a newcomer twice.

Seems like the guys at Utaran are having a hard time with newcomers.

I think the Thursday one is the Vocaloid/UTAU/Macne ranking. Or just the VocaRan.

The newcomers section - supposedly they introduce every new UTAU posted that week, but as demonstrated they tend to miss it. If you read the UTAUran Review articles on Vocaloidism, you get to hear me complain how Hana doesn't end up on there for about five weeks.

oh, I see it now...I'm watching the video now and there's a list of names and Trem's on it...

I get it now.

Well, there are a ton of voicebanks that come out all the time, so I doubt it was intentional.

Nico Nico Douga, where everything is Japanese and hosted. It's hard to be a Vocaloid/UTAU fan and not have an account there (though my friend Akai and I stalled for the longest time possible). But it's a useful thing to have when you want to watch stuff not on YouTube.

They also have the Weekly Vocaloid Ranking and the Weekly UTAU Ranking (VocaRan and UTAUran, which I have nicknamed it at Vocaloidism). Which reminds me, this week since school is over I'm going back on the panel.

Knowing hiragana and katakana will not get you far, and learning kanji is equivalent to learning the entire Japanese language itself, and considering none of us have pulled it off, Google Translate and Jisho will have to do.

Hira/kata does help in reading the first names of UTAU though since they are usually written in hiragana/katakana. Kanji is used most for language though.

Yep, there are some tutorials out there on how to do so though they're kinda outdated.

Nah, the Nicochuu are pretty resilient to Americans. Even flooding the Nico Nico Douga videos with "wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" is nothing compared to what they do ^^

Going to http://www.nicovideo.com/ goes to the English version of the site (which isn't even complete).

Also the website is very slow which is why I like YT better.
