I found out something about vip@2ch...

vip@2ch is not a person. It is a website who have pro on some kind of things (Like music composition, art, etc.)

So I made a thread about making one of my Voca OCs voice banks, and all the UTAU voicebank making professionals will come. That is how Teto and all the other Vippaloids were created I found out.

We already knew about that; they're kinda like 4chan, except they're less, erm, I dunno how to explain. 4chan is just... Different.

Vip@2ch is where Teto, Ruko, Ritsu, Miko, Rook and Tei came from. :3 AKA: The people who made all those pretending-to-be-Vocaloid UTAUs that everyone loves. ((Except the people who hate Tei.))

...So, what information do you have to put in the topic if you want them to make an UTAU of your character? ouo

If I were you, I wouldn't try to post your Vocaloid OCs there. I'll explain how a VIPperloid works.

- Vocaloid announcement is made (usually by Crypton); Tei was a bit of an exception, but she's, well...
- Trolls gather on a thread created specifically to create the VIPperloid.
- Random info is given by users; from eyecolor to height, passing through personality and voice samples. Again, Rook and Miko were exceptions because they already had voices; VIPppers just decided on their designs.
- the most random/best info is put together to create said character (this includes voicebank choices).
- Then, some of them create a page for said VIPper (Rook and Miko are exceptions once again). Videos and songs are also created
- And finally, unsuspecting VIPpers spread information through the web.

So, your OC won't become an UTAUloid, unless they're feeling absurdly generous (or absurdly trollish to mock you). Also, if you ask in English (or even Google Translate Japanese), they'll probably reply with "wwwwwwww" or with "AMERICA PIG DISGUSTING". Like 4chan, 2ch isn't gentle when it comes to replying unwelcomed visitors... And foreign people who can't speak Japanese usually aren't welcome there.

Seems like you didn't read it all... It's not only because we're foreigners or not. It's the whole request thing, and the fact that they simply might not want to attend to the request just because someone asked for it, no matter if it's a (half-) Japanese person or not. It's something like "we're not your personal army" from 4chan, except that's not directed to raids, but to UTAU recordings.

And Zeny, I know 4chan has better pranks XD I loved that Time one, and I just don't love the Justin Bieber one because maybe Kim might be too bad for poor Justin, who only commited the crime of ear rape 8D

You'd have better luck if you were posting something so incredibly hilarious, that they would want to do it. As Aline said, it's similar to 4chan's "We're not your personal army" mantra.

This makes me wonder if we can get /a/ and /v/ to work on an UTAU together.
