I'm not sure this is the right place to put this, but...
There is a major problem with VIRUSES on the internet nowadays.
I have another rouge anti-spyware program on my comp now. This is the second time in 4 days, and it isn't fun.
SO!
This is what you should do if you have a rouge anti-spyware program/virus on your computer (the ones that say "XP Internet Security 2010", or "Vista Security 2010", or "Win 7 Internet Security 2010"- theres a list somewhere with the entire list of 'em.
BEFORE DOING ANYTHING, PRESS CTRL+ALT+DEL AND CLICK PROCESSES, THEN KILL THE PROCESS "av.exe". IF YOU DON'T YOU CAN'T USE THE INTERNET AT ALL TO REFERENCE THIS GUIDE.
First, open notepad and copy/paste this into it-
2. Download Avast! Anti-virus or Maleware Bytes Anti-Malware, install and update.
3. RUN A FULL SCAN, AND REMOVE ALL FILES THAT ARE FOUND
3b. When removing files, it may say it has to reboot to delete some files. Say yes to this prompt.
4. If that doesn't work, I don't know what to do except take it to an IT guy, Geek Squad, or try removing it manually. -_-;
Yeah... since this is taking up my own scans time, I'm gonna quickly check the forum and say "Good Night".
