So! I don't post in this forum much, but this post is for some words of wisdom and to hear people's input about the topic. so dont shoot me yet plis ._.

I know many people start of making an UTAUloid by doing a Japanese voicebank first. I'm one of them, of course, lol. But has anyone tried to make a voicebank other than the common ones (English, Spanish, etc)? Does it usually effect what and what's not popular in cultural music in different areas depending on the voicebank you choose? Surprised

I really want to try out a different voicebank once my UTAUloid has a workable Japanese voicebank. But I'd like some advise on perhaps any voicebank that's non-Japanese, but still "easy" to start off with or how some people manage it. It'd be nice to hear what people got to say in their personal experience. 8D

Probably Tagalog(or Filipino in my Country) is easy and it's just like Japanese. But some of it are different too.

Sounds interesting. How is it different, if I may ask? Surprised

    hmm....let me see....

Filipino has "La" while japanese have "Ra".
Ex. Lapit (Come here for Filipino), if sounded like japanese it will be pronounce as "Rapit".

well I don't really see something different than that.
