Well it is clear that to create an UTAU, you need a microphone! All of us use different microhones, so I want to know what microphones use you, guys! :D
So, you need to post a photo of your microphone and some song of your UTAU, recorded with your microphone.
For example:

my desk area is sort of dark isn't it XD....

i use a rockband mic.

i can't really take a pic but this is my old headset (the one that my cousin ari used to record with for lullaby and persephone) i used it for nanashi with oremo (oremo was the cause of static in my bank! D;< so i had no way of fixing it T_T ) and it died shortly after due to some kind of magnetic interference OTL
the mic is of condenser quality (even says so on the site)


the one i'm having to use now *sigh* is a mono konami karaoke mic usb

konami rockband mic... it's awful XDD so much so it makes me laugh one time i tried to say something in a pouty voice to aele in one of our weird convo's we have XD i said "mah cookies" but with that mic it sounded more like i was angry kinda like "ima kill you if you steal mah cookies! +_+" it was hillarious XDDDDDDDD


i also miss my webcam DX i miss randomly doing the carameldansen with my friends (or when i'm bored balancing something on my head or nose XDDDD )

EDIT: found the pic it turns out it's a rockband mic... that explains how awful the quality is and why the sound is only mono.

This is exactly what I have. It's very sad looking.



It somehow gets somewhat good quality, even though it really looks like it shouldn't.

Mine's...well... I have no idea what model or type it is since all of that info isn't printed on it or anything. D: I found it just lying around and was like "Oh hey! I could make an UTAU with this :D" But it works fine...
