    i would try out my palete's (spelling? orz) dvd but it has a creepy old man in =.=; he's just... creepy and hard to watch....

    XDDD I don't have a DVD, I use either websites to get information on how to do a certain exercise, or just do push-ups, pull-ups, crunches, leg-lifts, arm-curls, bench-presses, jumping jacks, stretch a bit, then go for a jog a few hours later (it's really hot around here when I do all this, so I have to wait a bit to jog).

    And I feel bad for you. I'm sorry you make that face. XD;;;

    As long as you're not a blackbelt.... especially at my karate place (which I no longer go to). To become a black-belt, you have to do 100 push-ups. 100 of every single annoying frikking thing you can think of.

    oh don't forget the best time to exercise is in the morning when you first wake up (before you eat) because you'll be using up the fat energy stored inside instead of the food energy.

    I'm in Girls PE Involuntarily at school. I wanted Regular PE but alas my Counselor hates me guts >v<;; But we're doing more fun things likelikelike Squat and Bench max and more arm exercises *U*;

    vio can run half a mile in 6.o6 minutes *U*
    135 squat max before I got bored =u=;; 75 benchmax.
    31 pushups a minute oxo; um I think 30-something crunches a minute too.
    I can flex arm hang for 21 seconds *U*;

    =u=;; Fitness Testing is fun but I hate running with a Passion. I wish we could do more weights and play more fun gaemz like football xD

    lol vio. I can do over 100 pushups and situps in a minute. we're required to do so during my black belt test, which... was over 6 hours. like 3 hours of sparring, ahd to break about 6 boards, forms 2349234234 times, and so many kids were throwing up afterwards from exertion D':

    i loooooveee running! i love speed... i like going as fast as i possibly can >;D
    my legs are the most well toned and strongest part of me XD almost looking feminine =.=; i do hate my skinny ankles DX they're strong... just skinny like a girl's DXX

    Knowing your maximum is good, but it's better to just use a more stable amount of things or until you feel pain and can't overcome it.
    It's also good to stretch before and after exercise period. When I have done these exercises the past 2 days, I stretched, then I did 12 reps of benchpresses, pull-ups, leg-lifts, arm-curls, push-ups, sit-ups, and jumping jacks, wait 2-5 minutes, repeat 2 more times, then stretch again. Tomorrow I'm gonna do what you SHOULD do- stretch, aerobics of some sort (jogging, swimming, biking), stretch again, THEN weights, stretching afterwards for safe measure.

    But I'm mainly doing this to control my anger for one thing. XDDDD The endorphins really do help with that.

    EDIT: Running is an amazing thing. I've managed staying out of being obese by doing so. XDDD

    Exercise~ Exercise~! good luck with it~ I love doing running and other sports; it's really thrilling :Db I love cross country and running through big massive puddles! *V* although I'm bad at directions and get lost easily it's easy to go running to the beach and have a lovely day out since it's one big massive bike track *cheers* I love that track *kisses the path* Beach~ Beachie~ *V*
    I'm also thinking of taking up either Aikido, Judo, taekwondo or Muay Thai, god damn fighting is sexy. XD
    ...all though I'm not sure which one yet... *ponders*

    you all are so much better at that than i am orz i'll get started trying to exercise and maybe go for 2 days but then i just get bored. i don't mind some of the pain and burn, just the routine feels... boring =.=; i hate being bored DX

    running is the only exercise that feels fun, but of course not enough if i want a nicer looking physique.

    UGH I KNOW. ;__; I've tried starting a workout routine but after like 15 minutes I'm like, "Okay, this is really boring, let's go do something else." It helps if there's a movie showing on one of the TVs and you kind of get sucked in, though. XD

    Running really hurts my knees, but I like walking and going on the elliptical. And I love riding my bike but only outside, it's just really sad going on one of those fake bikes at the gym and... not going anywhere. You can't feel the wind on your face or the fresh air. =( Racquetball is fun too.
    Is it true that you can't really get fit without doing some kind of weight training? o.o Because there are always all these college guys in the weight area and I'm kind of scared of them. owo;;

    You actually don't have to hit the weights to lose... weight. XD; However, building muscle allows you to keep the weight you lose off. (Muscles burn calories naturally, because they use energy)

    true it does. muscle is important in losing weight, but there are many workouts that don't require weights of any kind to get a nice sculpted body... it's just that it takes longer than if you were to use weights. i do sometimes wear my 5 pound leg weights when i run (they don't seem to do much for me anymore except strengthen my hamstrings), but more often now i put them on my wrists (they make me look like forte!) and do some punches or other assortment of moves.

    but still i get so bored, i only seem to have fun when i feel like i'm really pushing myself to my limit when it comes to exercising.
