@haloheroine thank you so much! it seems that the only overseas UTAU originals are in either English or Spanish, (and they're all slow-ish.....) so I wanted to make something different^^

It sounds nice! I like the auto tune affect that it has. The lyrics are nice, too.

But GSnap wasn't giving me the right effect that I wanted, so I did it manually within UTAU =u=

Well, those songs do have a techno/autotune style to them, and they all sound similar to each other (since they're all from the same album and producer), but each song, including mine, are all different in their own way.

And I didn't really try to influence this song on any others.....(I haven't even heard Light Song until just now......)

But I'll take that as a compliment seeing as how I love livetune's music ouo'

sounds like it has the same theme as Melody.exe
the theme being the singer is a computer program and is singing about being a computer program...

please dont take it as a bad way...

@zinfandel I can see how this is probably a recurring theme for Vocaloid and UTAU songs, but I wanted to use this concept because the song style fits my UTAU's voice^^

I actually created it as an MIDI file on FL Studio first, then created some lyrics on a whim to go with it^^

And it sounds less strained with the beta fresamp, which I'll be using for the final version. (which is taking me forever ono;; )

Fresamp is the new fresampler. But it's littered with glitches at the moment, and is only in it's .11 build, if I recall. So one could expect problems.
But some people find that it works wonders with their UTAUs, and some don't. XD It's weird like that. All I know is that it doesn't like genderbends.
