okay for this tutorial it's really simple an easy 3 step process.
this compression method is what i used helping yoru compress seichii-chan's VB, it was around 94MB's i compressed [using this method] to 64MB's.
okay so this is simple enough
step 1.
right click your VB and click "add to archive" and you'll see this screen and you want the best compression method.
step 2.
go to advanced tab and click compression.
step 3.
you'll be taken to this screen.
this only works for wav files!
you want to choose force, so that it forces to compress all of the wav files and won't just skip over any like with auto.
now the channel i just keep at 0 so it finds the best method to compress with varied wav files, but feel free to experiment to see what works best for your 16-bit wav files (the only kind that work with utau).
don't worry about anything else but the audio compression method that's all you need (unless you have a HUUUGE txt file then feel free to force that too).
and about the change of background, my comp is on slideshow~
