i've noticed this too ._. some people feel like quitting or are quitting =/ one time yesi told me she's really hating camila... also that same day i noticed in skyislands msn under his name said "maybe i should just finally quit utau..." and well i just dunno what drama seems to be going on at all lately ._. i hope the both decide not to quit.

that was like last week btw, i dunno how they are currently. i know i feel like i can't bring up oto.ini-ing around them though... not since what happened last time =/

I still think they just need cheering up...

i did that with feli kept trying to cheer her up it almost didn't work. she did take a break and come back and she's still making utau musics~ though she still gets bashed for being a catgirl.

being supportive doesn't always work like uchi-chan just lost all interest in it. i brought her back for awhile cause she fell in love with mizki and now iroha but she may not stay long because she says and i quote "it was fun while it lasted, now it's just boring and i can't keep interest long enough to do anything in it anymore."

also onaneko she quit for awhile and had given arissa her utau, but she eventually came back. i dunno the whole story but i believe you have mostly ari to thank for that they're like best friends XD

it's a 50-50 chance in my eyes. i still try to help and be supportive but not all the time they want that or tend to feel "pitied" and then start bashing you or just walk off.

People need to do what feels best for them. If they feel like quitting, they need to quit.

Yesi from making Camila songs, and Sky from the whole fandom.

Also, don't go bugging Sky, he REFUSES to listen to anything or look at anything Vocaloid or UTAU for now while he's stepping back from it all.

i an admit things get boring after a few years, thats mainly why i am here i got board of mabinogi so now i am here for awhile...

i mean she was helping but then something happened and i felt i got in trouble over saying ._. i said nothing wrong though.

Well, people are getting tired of all the drama... Not to mention that some people don't get any attention at all, even though they want it, even if it's just a bit.

And in Yesi's case, she's also in a semi-hiatus because of health problems. She's complaining a lot about hearing problems lately, that's why she's slowing down. Health is far more important than a fandom that doesn't even give financial profit.

that wasn't the case with me though ._. i was talking with her over skype asking for help with oto.ini-ing, she helped telling me some of the ways she does it. i told i had been learning how to oto from all the tutorials here on this forum and her tutorial here and i had mentioned halo's name... that when she seemed to blow up and ranted that i hang around these forums too much and about halo... she seems to think halo hates her for some reason (i have no idea O_o ). i told her that nowhere on the forums have i seen halo say such a thing, the only thing i see that halo dislikes is her reclist, but that's an opinion not hate o-o

this is also why i had asked for help here on the forums in the help thread about nanashi's voice bank and oto's and why yesi moved her tutorial to her blog site orz (all within the same night).

It kinda makes me sad that there's so much drama going around, and that it's ruining the fandom for some people. =( Where does all of it even come from?

Yeah, good question. It's like virus, spreading all over! Dude, if I ever get that popular, am I getting those unhappy faces every time I leave because of my anrmia? You guys will be getting tired of that!

Let's make something very clear here: UTAU seems to not be for fun anymore. It's more and more becoming just a popularity contest. It's a natural cycle in most fandoms; after that, comes the waning (that's already happening), and then, the death of a fandom (where just a few really loyal members are still in it). Overseas UTAU fandom is dying. It might be revived somewhere in the future, with the new engine, just like fandoms are revived with media reboots. One can say that a fandom is a lot like moon phases, in a way.

Let's also agree that sometimes, fame comes with a bloody price. Sometimes, with a curse. Some people are only popular through negative ways (by being ridiculed, having trollish/stupid/laughable ideas, or just because people want to pick on someone), while others, just with lots of hard work (like, forgetting about RL hard). Others are bound to never, ever have fame, no matter how awesome, unique or hardworking they are. Fame is a cruel, unforgiving, fickle and really shallow mistress.

I might be a bit negative because after almost a year, some users (both Japanese and overseas) still think that my attachment to VOCALOID/UTAU was a really bad and ridiculous idea (or even the second coming of Mae Blythe). It doesn't help that I'm too upset with them and with myself, thus thinking and making it real... Sometimes, I prefer to just be ignored by these people.

But this thread isn't about me. It's about people who are quitting and are going to be missed ^^;
