I'm taking 4 AP classes this year, 6 tests this year.
Already took 2, did really poorly.

I don't know about AP classes since I'm not in school like that.
My Music Theory class has a lot of smart alecks... I hate people who give their two cents without me really asking. Gah... It's SO annoying. :/

Daaang. o.o;; Good luck! I took US History last year and it wasn't all that bad, as long as you study.

I'm in AP English III right now...we color and watch movies x( And here I had been hoping for some challenging course material.

I took APUSH last year...and failed. Our main essay was on Puritans. Ugh. I'm not very good at studying though... (I always procrastinated and stuff. Don't do what I did...><")
I won't be taking any AP classes this year. I may take AP Art sometime, though...

Fffff, I know what you mean! I'm in AP Psych, we've had two tests so far. Both of them have been open book. And for one of them she gave us the teacher copy by mistake and all the answers were already on it. XD;; At least it's fun...?

I'm the type that doesn't study unripe doo-doo covered banana, but still gets good grades.
This year I'm taking Physics, Chem, Calc, Language, and US History... ...And then my last class is Socialogy, which is a blow off class where I get to sleep on a couch for an hour. èvé

Last year I took the World History and Bio AP Exams-- which was the only things I ever studied for outside of school last year-- And I made a 5 in History and a 4 in Biology. ㅎvㅎd

I find it funny that next year, when my step brother starts HS, he doesnt have to take the TAKS tests anymore, but I do ALL THE WAY THROUGH HS. D< and I still have to take semester exams, even though passing the TAKS with commended is supposed to allow you to not take the exams. the hell man im all confuss. D:

@Sansyo – Lucky you. D: I’m glad there is no Korean AP though. My parents would make me take it. Then I’d fail. Your classes are very similar to mine though…

What's an AP? We have QCAT, MATCAT, QCS, NAPLAN...

Advanced Placement (for high school students).
After taking an AP course, getting a 4 or 5 on the test means you can skip that course in college.

Aster Selene, that depends on the teacher and the course x3 For instance...we drew a picture of colonists. And made a poster about somebody infamous who should have a scarlet letter. Tough stuff, amiright? x3
We had Japanese classes at the middle school...I got to take two years, and then the teacher was "let go." orz And of course, there isn't even an online Japanese course through the North Carolina Virtual Public School (but there is German and Russian, no offense to people who are German/Russian or like the language, but I feel that, at least where I live, Japanese is waaaay more in demand than those two languages).

The problem is that the test is really, really hard - so if your course is easy, it's not adequately preparing you for the test.

It's a toss-up between getting a better grade and doing better on the test.
