Ok I did username, now your real name~ (you don't have to tell what it is if you don't want to ^^)
Yeah, like Korean/Japanese/Chinese names do mean something, but it might be a bit harder on western names xD
So you might need to go google your own name xP

So...mine, it's chinese and it means "the mist in the cold"
    Yours? =D

    JASON

    Gender: Masculine
Usage: English, French, Greek Mythology (Anglicized), Biblical
    Other Scripts: Ιασων (Ancient Greek)
    Pronounced: JAY-sən (English) [key]
From the Greek name Ιασων (Iason), which was derived from Greek ιασθαι (iasthai) "to heal". In Greek mythology Jason was the leader of the Argonauts. After his uncle Pelias overthrew his father as king of Iolcos, Jason went in search of the Golden Fleece in order to win back the throne. During his journeys he married the sorceress Medea, who helped him gain the fleece and kill his uncle, but who later turned against him when he fell in love with another woman.
This name also appears in the New Testament, belonging to man who sheltered Paul and Silas. In his case, it may represent a Hellenized form of a Hebrew name. It was not used in England until after the Protestant Reformation.

    First - Beloved
    Middle - Intelligent sky
Last - Ehh..rather uncertain of. It came from the Chinese word Ruan or Yuen, meaning plucked string instrument and it can mean origin.

So..the beloved intelligent sky's plucked string instrument?

or the beloved intelligent sky's origin.

    CATALINA

    Gender: Feminine

    Usage: Spanish

    Pronounced: kah-tah-LEE-nah
    Spanish form of KATHERINE

    *let's go to KATHERINE*

    KATHERINE

    Gender: Feminine

    Usage: English

    Pronounced: KATH-ə-rin, KATH-rin [key]
From the Greek name Αικατερινη (Aikaterine). The etymology is debated: it could derive from the earlier Greek name ‘Εκατερινη (Hekaterine), which came from ‘εκατερος (hekateros) "each of the two"; it could derive from the name of the goddess HECATE; it could be related to Greek αικια (aikia) "torture"; or it could be from a Coptic name meaning "my consecration of your name". In the early Christian era it became associated with Greek καθαρος (katharos) "pure", and the Latin spelling was changed from Katerina to Katharina to reflect this.

The name was borne a semi-legendary 4th-century saint and martyr from Alexandria who was tortured on a spiked wheel. The saint was initially venerated in Syria, and the name was introduced to Western Europe by returning crusaders. It has been common in England since the 12th century in many different spellings, with Katherine and Catherine becoming standard in the later Middle Ages.

Famous bearers of the name include Catherine of Siena, a 14th-century mystic, and Catherine de' Medici, a 16th-century French queen. It was also borne by three of Henry VIII's wives, including Katherine of Aragon, and by two empresses of Russia, including Catherine the Great.

My English name: This is the name I use most often but I'll never tell what it is. I will tell that 1) if I used it for an OC she'd be immediately called a Mary Sue and 2) if I posted it here, you guys wouldn't even need to look up Behind the Name.

My Korean name: 문수희(文殊熙) (Moon Su-hui) Note: "ui" in this case is pronounced more like "i" since most people are really lazy. Dissect the meaning (almost copied directly from Jisho):
문(文) - "knowledge" ("literature" is the literal meaning but Chinese people give it that connotation)
    수(殊) - "exceptionally"
    희(熙) - "bright"

Yeah, you can tell my parents had expectations of me.

(By the way, please kindly refrain from using my Korean name for me. I'm giving it out specifically because it's not my identifiable name because I'm paranoid about my real name getting out.)

    Gender: Masculine

    Usage: English, French, German, Scandinavian

    Pronounced: KRIS-chən (English), KRISH-chən (English), krees-TYAWN (French), kris-TEE-ahn (German)

From the Medieval Latin name Christianus meaning "a Christian" (see CHRISTOS). In England it has been in use since the Middle Ages, during which time it was used by both males and females, but it did not become common until the 17th century. In Denmark the name has been borne by ten kings since the 15th century. A famous bearer was Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875), the Danish author of such fairy tales as 'The Ugly Duckling' and 'The Emperor's New Clothes'.

    Amber~
Copy paste from think baby names =3=
    The girl's name Amber \a-
mber\ is pronounced AM-ber. Derived via Old French and Latin from Arabic "ambar". Amber is the English name for a semiprecious gem made from fossilized tree resin, and is also used to describe the gem's golden color. In Hindi, the name is derived from Sanskrit, meaning "the sky". Amber became popular in the 1960s due to the Kathleen Winsor novel and film, "Forever Amber".
