    Yeah, title... (I call my lists "stuff to record" and put them on a sheet of paper, and I don't use Oremo because... *coughmymicrophoneisaphonemiccough*)

    So, I want to ask, how do you make a reclist/etc?
    Do you go on like wikipedia and go to a page like this and connect consanants to vowels (like hence "CV") and tahdah you've got your UTAU singing in that language? o.o

    For Japanese CV, of course, I grab the hiragana chart off wikipedia and record all those sounds :3

    And the katakana chart also has some extra sounds that might be handy to record, although I've neglected to get those just yet xD

    Then for stuff like English I first kinda "complete" the consonant-vowel sets... what I mean is like the hard "t" only has "ta" "to" and "te" in Japanese, so I record a "ti" and "tu" to finish the vowels off.

    Do this for all the consonants, then record English "r"s (since Japanese is pronounced more like an r-l-d combination) and you'll have an EXTREMELY BASIC English bank. Like, it'll still have weird pronunciation, but you'll have a decent set of consonants.

    Then from there... I kinda sat down and wrote my own English reclist xD; it's not done yet, but I'm planning to post it here once Aiko's and Mathieu's English banks are completed. But if you want any suggestions on what to record you can PM me.

    For VCV, those are pretty complex sets of phonemes xD;
    I'd suggest finding a VCV UTAU you like and asking around for their reclist. I'm using Hiyori's.

    Hope this helped.

    There are some languages that have a set more simple set of sounds, like chinese and japanese, but there are languages with a bit more complicated set of sounds, like english...so if you want to make a reclist, well it depends from the language...
    ...Er...I was of no help at all xP

    and...how can you connect a phone mic to your computer?

    Surprised i wanna make Cantonese, as you can see above, which is one kind of Chinese xD

    lol my steps to recording:
    1. record a video or audio clip of me doing the recordings
    2. put the files in my comp
    3. record what's coming out of my speakers by playing the files
    4. etcetc :D

    As you can see, I need a real mic. -___-;
