    Post by 산쇼씨 (Sansyo-ssi) Sat Oct 30, 2010 4:25 am

    ...It's been over a year since I made my first renzoku voicebank. EVE;; (...I think Shou was the first overseas to try Renzoku out, after Teto got it popular-- and then I showed Yesi, and she showed everyone else. ㅎvㅎWink

    ...nevertheless, his configuration and everything sucked back then. "orz

    So, I've been working on some VCV/renzoku/yeonsok/whateverfafdajk banks. Shou's Korean VCV is about 60% done (a little over 200 recordings atm) ...but I'm thinking about restarting since the recording quality (the way I sing in them orzorz) really sucked. ㅠvㅠ9" alsoithasanaccenttooorzz

    So basically, I want your guys's opinions on how these just sound. EVE; Like, does the soft bank still sound like Shou? Does the Korean VCV sound like he's singing through his nose? ...and like-- If I make a better version of Shou for english, should he come out with the soft or normal version first? ㅎvㅎ;;;

    His voice is great! And he sounds so realistic in Hello/How Are You ovo

    I can't really comment on the Korean though seeing as how I don't know the language.... ouo;;

    VCV Korean? Since Korean relies heavily on stop consonants, I would think a sort of CVC-CV configuration would be better...

    Either way he still sounds awesome so I dunno

    Soft Append is <3.

    Oh this is amazing!! I love everything TT
    and um...from my opinion, KOREAN VCV is smooth, but the pronounce is little rolly<<?!
    But, GJ! I love Shou singing in Korean.

    Ah, pure bliss to the ears. All of those samples sound so smooth. The soft version is distinct enough but not dramatically different from the original, and the Korean VCV doesn't sound nasal to me. Will be waiting for this to be released Smile

    @Aster
    ...Well basically-- it's not just VCV--
    Its all the stuff in CVC and VV... plus-- transitions between vowels and hard consonants..? EVE;
    (I'm thinking about forgetting it for now, and just using normal recording type though, since it's easier to configure-- and you can get the same quality if you edit right.)

    @Rukia
    I know right-- the pronounciation is really bad. ㅠvㅠ
    If I sang it myself, the accent wouldn't be as much-- but the way I recorded sounds really americain for some reason. ""OTZ

    And everyone-- thanks---. EVEd+
    ...I really like how the soft recordings sound compared to normal, so maybe I'll do those first. ㅎvㅎ+

    I used the fresamp, which is how I got it to be smoother. (If you edit properly with flags, the recordings won't be so nasallywhatever when you get out of range too)

    ... ...thankssomuchforyourcommentsagainbtwhnnnggg--;;
