- Spoiler:
- A frustrated android sat in front of the PC. He pushed the Enter-button once. Twice. Another eight times. Than he let out an irritated scream and slammed his head into the keyboard, with annoying bleeping sounds as the PCs reply. He sighed and looked back at the screen. "Why are you not working?", he muttered as he tried some other keys. No response whatsoever. "Moooooom!", the android started whining. His mom, however, just took a sip of her umpteenth glass of water. "Yuugi, the thing can't stand the heat. It's made in prehistory." Yuugi huffed and laid his arms on the desk. "But it's not hot at all. I like the weather." His mother sighed. "You're running on solar energy, brat. Get used to it. Humans don't like these temperatures. And old PCs neither." She went back to refill her glass once more. "Shinigami don't like these temeratures either, because I called Yoshiya earlier and he said it was too hot to go shopping.", Yuugi said. "The kid's right. He would burn alive with that pale skin he has...", the answer was. "And Nunny didn't answer the phone.", Yuugi muttered. "You're stalking the kid!", his mom replied. Yuugi sighed dramatically, while trying to get the PC to work once again. "This is so boring. Why can't we go do something?" He gave a little kick to the desk, but no effect. "Go entertain yourself. Watch a movie, go swimming, bake a cake...", his mom replied lazily, while falling down on the couch. "It is hot Yuugi. I will not amuse you today. Hot and damp." Yuugi let out another dramatic sigh before shutting the PC off. "I'll go into town then..."
"Don't you feel the heat?", Ayane asked annoyed. Yuugi shook his head. "I don't notice it. I run on solar energy, so the only thing bothering me is my battery." Ayane huffed. "That's the same kid. Our battery is bothering us too. Except for the fact that you have too much and we have too little energy." Yuugi put on his thinking face. "I get it...", he muttered. "You do? Great, now get the hell outta here, I'm having a siesta.", Ayane said, while picking up her stuff. "What's that?", Yuugi asked. "It's an afternoon nap, to sleep through the heat.", Ayane answered. "Now hurry up and start walking out that door!"
"Mom?" Yuugi's mom looked up annoyed. She was once more refilling her glass. "Aren't you going to have a siesta?" She shook her head. "I cannot sleep when it is warm, I hate the stickyness..." She took a sip of her water. "Why don't you go to the beach?" Yuugi shuddered. "You know, last time..." Silence fell. Yuugi looked scared and his mom looked amused. "Yeah, you didn't take the sand very well..." She grinned at him. Yuugi shuddered once again. "Okay okay..." She grabbed something from a box, and gave it to Yuugi. "Here. Have this. It's not very interesting, but I guess you can play with it." Yuugi looked at the toy. It was quite simple looking. "What's this?", he asked. "It's a diabolo. Wait, I'll show you." His mom took the toy back from Yuugi and showed him how to use it. "You can perform tricks with it and such things.", she said, while tossing it up and catching it again. "That's awesome!", Yuugi cried out and he immediately started trying to do the same. "You need to practice before doing stuff like that...", his mom said, but Yuugi was too concentrated to notice.
"You hungry yet kid?" Yuugi's mom looked at Yuugi. He shook his head. "I think I got too much energy...", he muttered. "No, there are thunderstorms coming our way..." Yuugi didn't reply, he laid down the diabolo and walked to the couch. He fell down in it with closed eyes. "My my... If we only could fix that little bug...", his mom said. Yuugi didn't answer. She sat down next to him. "Don't worry little one. Mommy is here...", she said, while gently stroking through his hair. The first bolt of lightning lit up the sky, and it started to rain heavily. "When it's over, you and me will both feel better.", Yuugi's mom mused, and she watched the storm rage.
