-Contest- Redesign My UTAU?/CLOSED

Hey~

So uhm, yeah, pretty much just as the title says. My friend did the original character design for my UTAUloid, Subarashiine Kurumi, back before she had a voice. Now she's got one, I think it's fairly unique and I'm tired of her having just a recoloured-Vocaloid-look. So I'm holding a contest to redesign her =)

I would prefer if pictures were sent in, but if you don't want to draw your idea, you can send in a detailed description. However, you're a lot more likely to win if you send a picture...

The winner will not only get to pick the next song I make Kurumi sing, they will also have a picture of their design (either the one they sent in or one I draw myself... probably the one sent in, I'm lazy OTL) featured in the video for that song. And of course, they would be fully credited as the character designer, and I would love them forever! <3

Well, it's up to you really =) Narukeka's original design for her was just a recolour of Miku's outfit, minus the tie. She doesn't have to be Crypton inspired, but she doesn't have to be totally original either =) It's entirely your decision, haha.

I kind of went off of the Genre I liked her in and how I found her [Final Reason was the first Video I watched of her] =w=;; So she's not really "Subarashii" at all xD More like :v Gunna cut you. Or something =w=

Alright, here's my entry:



The hair I still think you should keep it straight and down, but I put it as curly just as a thought. What I really wanted was for you to focus on her outfit (design) than her hair and whatnot.

Oh and that belt...yeah I seem to notice Vocaloids/UTAUloids have some kind of bar on their arm sleeves or wherever that looks like their volume controls or some kind of programming for them. (I saw Hatsune Mix and for Miku, she had some kind of volume thingy)

So I thought of making it her belt or whatnot.

Your free to edit it and what not, but that's just my entry. I designed her simple since her old design was simple yet cute, and easy to draw. ^u^

I changed the red to be more pinkish, just because the red was a little bright to go with her hair color.

I tried to keep a little of the original design to keep it cute and modern but I also added some stuff that's just generally fun to draw. xD
