This is just a slight peeve of mine, but it's a rather easy fix.
First off, make sure you have not altered the key of your UST.
I don't mean g-flags, I mean selecting all and dragging notes up or down. Though it might get a higher or lower sound you need, it can make the vocals clash with the karaoke. Badly. If you must move it up or down, ONLY move it an ENTIRE octave. For example, from C4 to C5 or E#3 to E#4. Moving the notes from something like D4 to E4 will make it off-tune. Make sure the letters and sharps/flats always match, juuuust change the number~
Second, make sure all mod is set to 0. You can do this by selecting all, right clicking, going to the last selection and typing "0" in the second blank.
Third, in Audacity. Make sure you don't use the pitch tool on JUST the vocal track if you need to make it higher or lower. Select EVERYTHING, including the karaoke, and then pitch. Otherwise, once again, it'll get off tune.
Don't be afraid to double-check! It's sometimes pretty hard to figure out if something is in the correct key/pitch. If you're not sure, ask around. There's a lot of UTAU users with a really good ear for pitch that can help.
