Failoid Falures

Why do a lot of failoids NOT HAVE bad voices?
I have not heard a REALLY BAD failoid.
It's like people try to make failoids and MAKE THEM sound good. :c failoids should be bad... not really off key, but just....Not a different pitch...

Because face it, you wouldn't want to hear a screeching voice in Daughter of White.

Fail doesn't necessarily come from "bad voice", just "failure at gaining Vocaloid popularity".

Not really bad, but not REALLY good :c
Or like my little Jewel. Still sounds adorable, but not smooth. But really? So many Failoids that I've seen were saying they were supposed to be bad voices :c

I hate 'Failoid' UTAU's that don't even sound bad.
Same goes for Voyakiloid songs that soung good.

Vocaloid can get away with fail because it's obvious it's just for fun. Then good users use them anyway and make amazing songs. (Daughter of White).

Utau, however, has fail Utauloids. They're called "people with bad mics."

Not to be rude, but it's rare for me to find many UTAUs that sound any good. There are mildly good UTAUs and ones whom you really get attached to. But at least 70% of the time, the UTAUs I hear either are singing a song they can't handle, or they are just.. bad. umu (Or I'm just picky..)

Not to say that can't be fixed, but some people need to work a little harder. non/

I don't believe in "failed vocaloids" [unlessyou'resonika/shot] , but fail utau loids can come from Bad OTO /been there. Bad Microphone /been there.

The overseas fandom is horrible about releasing unripe doo-doo covered banana. However, there are some really good ones, especially if you lurk on these forums. I've found so many good banks from around here.

Hana has stereo samples (I can't record mono because Audacity flips out) and white hair...

huh... i didnt know Failoids were how ppl described their UTAU... i always thought Failoids were a failed vocaloid (such as Haku Yowane for example). and im not saying that offensively, i just thought thats what they were...

Failoids are like Haku, they are meant to "suck". or at least not be perfect. Or make fun of the perfect ones.

Just say I know Matt9five personally. And there are reasons for them being Failoids.

Thechibichii has the attention span of a fish.

So getting her to record properly is like trying to get a fish to stay still without killing or trapping it.

i checked the video of her singing and it says a failoid either

A. Fails
or B. thinks they fail when they don't

Why it fails: Her voice is pretty warped, really breathy, and has ridiculous amounts of vibrato.
