IF i ever decide on making an english voicebank, what shoukd i do? what list of sounds should i record... cuse i notice it might not be as easy as it sounds...

for example, it might be a bit impossible to hold the sound "t" for 3 seconds O_o

Just go "tttss" then crop out the "sss" and copy paste" ttt" for a couple seconds. I never hold my notes for a longer than 2 seconds, and it always works out fine if you do it properly. Only Li Jiang has some english, based off Sango's reclist for SECRET. But I used my "Ttttttttss" method.

UTAU has something in testing called consonant velocity that actually slows or makes faster the consonant part of the oto.
It's very cool for foreign languages and to make more unicness to the syllables but sadly it isn't saved in the UST so it can't be used for UST sharing.

I am recording English with the sounds Neko Kanochi has. It's not exactly a reclist but I enjoy working with it.
