What kind of stuff do you use to make your voicebank?

Me start!!!

I use Infrasonic UFO mic(picture above) and Cool Edit, which is made before Adobe Audition. OREMO doesn't really fit to me.

I used to use headphone, which was pretty cool with Realtek Audio driver.

Buying a new microphone soon. But my current one is Logitech USB Desktop, and at the time of recording I used Garageband for Macintosh. I now use Adobe Audition. non/

For ACT1, I used this incredibly cheap in price and quality microphone that picked up everything possible, with OREMO.

Now using Sennheiser PC131 headset, with Audacity to record. It works great for me.

I'm the laziest UTAU creator ever, I'm much more suited to configuring and creating than actually voicing myself...

I use my inbuilt mic and OREMO. I don't even edit my files.

I use a built in mic which has a nice quality (SoundMAX integrated digital HD audio) and usually audacity,sometimes OREMO.Audacity has a better quality imho.

I started out with a Logitech headset and Audacity on a laptop. I later moved to a Sony F-V220 microphone on the main PC, and started using OREMO. After that, I used a Logitech desktop microphone w/ OREMO ever since. I used Audacity once again to record Kii's ACT3, for the sake of tradition xD

oh and i have skull candy headphones, but thats so my whole apt building doesn't hear my music xD

A Wii-microphone and Audacity. I used to have a cheap headset... But my microphone sounds way better.

A 5 pound headset and a lochitech usb microphone right now, but before my mic broke I used a technika desktop mic that was amazing quality for it's price; too bad I can't find anywhere that sells it any more

I used to use a Rockband mic (Logitech USB is what is read by the computer) and OREMO, but now I've switched to a Samson CO1U USB Studio Condenser microphone (Zeny had said it's an HD mic) with REAPER for recording and FL Studio for editing out white noise (which really doesn't cause problems for me).

I use my Rock Band mic for recording (still can't believe how well it works! ;w; ) When I recorded Kazuko (like, 10 months ago orz), I used Audacity, but for Toby I used OREMO. I've tried recording with REAPER, but... I guess I must be doing something wrong, because it always turns out kinda robotic-sounding in UTAU. o.o;; Oh well.

kool! i didn't buy one because it was so expensive for thin flat cloth thing. just my opinion. but it must be much better than my stocking thing :D!!!

My fist Bank I used Audacity and my PlayStation 2 SingStar Mic, which is why it sucked.


If I remember correctly, Jewel was with the SingStar mic as well.

I just steal my older brother's mic and use Audacity. >_> Noise removal was my friend for Waizu's Act 2. XD

...I used my ipod headphones for Trem. And my iPod touch. Which probably why she sounds so robotic, lol.

Needless to say, I'm looking for a different mic before I record her act II.

I use Rockband Mic and Reaper. I also have discovered a "Resonant Filter" setting that makes the sound crisp and free of static, so I apply it aswell.

resonant filter? tell me more~~ i have a rockband mic and i'm pretty sure you heard the quality of it and how bored it made me sound in my youtube video D:

anything could help really (other than using tissue and a plastic bag over it cause i'm already doing that)
