    Moe, the new Tsundere

You guy all know what Tsundere means, right? Well, not until you have seen Minoru’s speak in Lucky Channel, the mini-show after Lucky Star. The meaning of Tsundere has been changed. Why? We don’t know. But where Tsundere actually is the term for a character that acts cold and heartless, but gradually opens up and becomes warmer, the word is changed to a term for girls that act cold and heartless, but actually love the person they are acting cold too. This might come to a shock to some of you, realising that your favourite character is indeed, not Tsundere, but I can take this even farther.
Because, how many of you know the exact meaning of Moe?

Moe, it’s used for fetishes, for just generally cute and harmless characters. Miku, for instance, is seen as Moe. But, is it true? Obviously, it isn’t. Moe is not about cute girls. Moe is a term for protecting helpless characters. So, how can a person, or a character, be Moe? You can only experience Moe, since you can only experience the protecting. You can’t be protecting someone for infinity. So, technically, saying someone is Moe is wrong usage of terms.
You can talk about weaboos who use wrong terminology, but if you have used one of these terms wrong until now you have proven to be the same as those you despise. Think of that.

There, I ranted. About the one thing that has been bugging me for months. And if I completely screwed up your way of living, I succeeded.

I... don't understand your rant on Tsundere? Both meanings mean pretty much the same thing; someone who acts sharp but has a soft centre, which usually involves being in love with someone; and being tsundere they /will/ act cold towards the person they love to begin with...

The problem with modern tsundere is that the majority model themselves on Asuka from Evangelion.
But HELLO Asuka had serious mental problems.
Unless your tsundere has as after a nice long bath up a mentality as she does, there is NO reason for half of them to act the way they do.
FOR EXAMPLE: Shana, Taiga, Louise, basically the majority of 'man beater' girls.

You understood it wrong. Tsundere is a term for all characters who act cold to anyone, not only those they are in love with. The 'in love' part is the problem.

Also, i never said we are more wrong than the Japanese. They are as guilty as we are in this.

It's really disappointing to see how the "Dere" is going. Yandere, Tsundere [ect]. :/ Being misused. I don't use either of them while speaking and very rarely when typing, but.....

"darudere" is an extremely specific term, so I doubt I misused it.

I do know the original definition of "tsundere", though, and I'm very aware of the implications of "moe" thanks to The Otaku's Encyclopedia (as mch as I resent it for getting much of its anime-specific facts wrong, it's a great guide on otaku culture).

Yes, but the term had nothing to do with love AT FIRST. Go watch Lucky Star. it will be explained to you. By a Japanese person, if you believe them more.
