Well, im recording append banks, and to go with the theme crypton has, redesigns, (ugh. Im still not happy about it, but I wanted to draw futuristic.)
Anyways, I drew Luna's append, and I kinda used a Miku figure as a pose reference. (Miku VN02)

I normally hate miku but >3 luna pulls off miku better than miku XD I like it.

hmm... Its the way the hair was drawn that mikus it to me. if it looks too miku try altering her hair. but i love it ._. so eh xDD

Gaaaah, her design is sooo pretty~

And she does look a little similar to Append Miku (it's probably the hair and pose) but it'll probably make a big difference once you color it.

(BTW, half of the lines is jpeg because my comp shut down, and all I had left of the pic was a jpeg screnshot of the half finished lines, so I added on from there.)

If you think about it, Vista's design is sort of Append looking... and I drew this back in December of 2009, around the time I actually started recording her.

Now making her Append design would rather be... difficult xD

You could always photoshop. Editing figmas is a popular activity within the Japanese fanbase.

Prolly not, since they have their hands full with hundreds of figures at once. Plus they're a Japan-based company.

I've seen some good videos on Figma customizing, though. Modeling clay, enamel paint, a good airbrush, a gas-mask, and patience are all you need. xD

There is actually one company you can have make a 3-D model of a character. You have to have all the specifics though, and I'm not sure they make Figmas or not.
