Yume Barauta approached the sleeping girl silently, gripping the shaft of her scythe tightly.
"Mm... Such a shame. Her soul would be so tasty." the young Shinigami murmured to herself as she prepared to reap the girl's soul.
"Leave the soul eating to the Demons. We're here to kill the girl and get out." Yume's twin brother stood on the other side of the bed, grinning.
"Yeah, yeah." She raised her scythe, and swung.
The entire neighborhood was woken by a girl's piercing scream, but when her parents reached her room, she was gone, with no trace left of her ever being there.
