UTAU Grease?

Grease the musical, yes.

I did the musical with ou theatre group a couple of years ago, and I just found my soundtrack... Which has off-vocals! And I immediately thought it would be a nice idea to... wel, make our own musical! OSUF's version of Grease.

I dunno how to do that though... xD

Oh I think it would be too! We could even try to find someone (Mikau) to translate the songs into Japanese if we want to... But they need to fit the off-vocal...

Casting would be very difficult though. Were you just planning to cover the songs or try and do the acting as well, since that would also be difficult..

I don't know if there are many Grease midis around but if there are they'd be useful in UST making.

Casting should be like auditions! I'm totally into this right now. xD I should get my soundrack on the PC and see what roles we definetely need...

By the way, whole musical or only the songs? I say the whole thing, but I don't have my script anymore. OTL

Okay Okay... I think we need at least 10 UTAUs. % Pink ladies, with one Sandy and one Rizzo (<- my role in the musical xD) and 5 T-Birds with obe Danny and one Kenickie...

Than one person to sing the title song. (Yes, I have a karaoke of tat one too. xD)

And a shitload of UTAUs to sing the end song.

How are the auditions going to be held? What kind of rules?

Hmmmm... I guess you could be auditioning for the role you want... And I guess you need a motivation. And a voice sample.

Would it need to be a song in English? Sicne we're covering the songs in English, it's no good to hear a sample of your UTAU singing in Japanese and then they can only sing terrible Engrish XP

Yeah, an English/Engrish voice sample would be great!
