So stop complaining. :U

This post is targeted at no one on this forum. Rather, the people right next to me reading my words as I type. XD

EDIT: I guess this will be my virus scan journal....
5 viruses found so far (I bet they're trojans)
I'm using safe mode with networking to be able to do this, btw. Normal safe mode doesn't have internet. :U

Still just 5 infected files.... Scan isn't done yet, orz. But it may be worth it, the virus is also screwing up my net connection.

Also... I had hell when I first attempted to remove the virus. In total, 21 infected files showed up. So I go to delete them, and then Malewarebytes Anti Malware crashes, so then I have to hard reboot the computer. Everything boots fine, except apparently, in doing that, my computer thinks that I am using an unactivated copy of windows. So I go to validate my copy instead, and it says go activate it here by doing THIS. *replace this with list of instructions* It was pretty simple though, all I really did was go the system tools menu in the start menu (Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools), clicked "Activate Windows" (Very apt name, by the way), then clicked maybe twice. Then it was activated. BUT I STILL HAD TO VALIDATE IT. So I did. Woo. I get to keep a virused computer. Which I'm trying to unvirus. :U

....Just decided to vent that out. Yup. THERE IS A SMART COOKIE. IN THIS POST. FIND IT.

EDIT: 40 minutes later...

VIRUS SCAN SPEED INCREASES TO OVER 9000!
20 INFECTED FILES FOUND!

...wat. YOU MEAN THEY WEREN'T GONE? *goes to remove*

where do you go on the internet to get these XD avast anti-virus warns me if i go to a malicious site.
also do you still own all that good anti-virus and anti-malware stuff from when you last posted about a virus like these on the forums? XD

and your computer is better you can play portal i can't i don't even own a graphics card XD

LOL This is a different computer.
Which I can't play portal on (but will be able to soon).
I still have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware... I didn't bother with Windows Defender or whatever. And the registry key, but all you really need is the most updated version of Malwarebytes. XD

i think what you need most of all is a hardware firewall XD my router has one built in and i've had no problems with it so far (it's so good, i only use the standard windows firewall i have no need for any other).

Lemme tell you the story of the HP Compaq.

Mmmmhm. A quick bit of research into both companies tell horror stories.

It crashes once in every five boots and requires a wipe and restore. I cannot install Vocaloid or UTAU without it crashing. I cannot install anything without it crashing. Whatever antivirus software I try to install will stop working within a day for an odd reason and the firewall will shut down. I caught an unknown process in my computer and looked it up, and guess what?

It's a program spread among people who create viruses to aid in the spreading of worms.

I lost all hope for that computer and switched to Mac/Boot Camp and so far the only issue I've had is a lack of memory (mainly because I have a lot of junk on my computer -whistle-)

My Boot Camp partition has avast btw and it works fine.

I got my computer two years ago. Works great, except my parents download stuff on the internet and believe the internet scams (free iPod nano, anyone? >_> and they tell me to be careful... as well as me to clean up ~~my stuff~~ their stuff on it orz)

I don't trust anyone to use this computer because I've quite a lot of personal stuff in here like stalker pictures lol

I've checked my old computer (this one I've been using this whole year is my dad's laptop) and it has like...52 viruses D: and it's slow as hell...I mean, 191 RAM!? WTF!!?
But it has moar disk free space, so I have to put all my stuff on it because now I have internet connection on it hehe orzzzzzz

Kenji... My computer is so crappy I rarely get viruses; it takes too much time for them to open and install here.

(My older computer was even worse. Seriously. It took around 10 minutes to open Firefox at times)

I have a lot of computer history actually... my first comp was Windows 98/MSDOS, which I had waaay back in 2001. It was on ~~die~~dial up internet and I had to spend over an hour waiting for flash player to install. We updated that when it went faulty and gave it a dual operating system that had 98 and Windows 2000. I had mame32 and all these old arcade games (eg. the original Japanese Donkey Kong ROM) and one day the computer just... died. 98, you will be missed ;n;
My "new" comp Hubert must be a cat though. Think it's got about seven lives left XD;

well i just got back to my main computer and now i have to go thogh the painful task of reinstalling everything, i'm fine reinstalling my other programs but pocaloid sucks to reintall with all the voicebanks xP utau my voicebank is online so i can just redownload that =P

i'm currently on luka's japanese voicebank, i go in order of release....

also i am the only treat to my computer i tinker with it then i break it.... you guys should invest in os disks and external hardrives >.<
