Genderbending Gone Wrong

i have been testing some a genderbend

well this is how i was doing it, first i recorded in audacity then i used the pitch change to go up by 17.394%

anyone got tips on post sample recording genderbending?

and i mean literally changing the sounds for a permanent voice bank and dont say record in a girly tone my voice cant do that i tryed XP

Well....... that was..... strange. My guess would be the frq file being all out of whack or something. Maybe you should try re-recording and testing for a sample that won't sound bad when played in UTAU.

I would actually say, if you were going for a male > female UTAUloid...
Just sing as girlishly as you can, try for something in the C4 Octave, too. XD Then, like, in program, just g- it until it sounds more natural.

Like, I've never pitched down Hayao's samples. He's always been manly pronunciation and then in C3 with g+15.

UH ALSO, that, in UTAU?
XDDD Regenerate the FRQ file, give it an oto, and make sure the modulation is set to 0.
