The demo has Miku singing first and then Rin, unless there's more than one demo of her.
As for Soft Len...eh, I can't really hear much of a difference from normal. Maybe it's just me.

Len soft is a lot less... harsh, per se, on the accent?
It's a lot more mature than ACT2.
