Mixing Audio - Halp

I have the Love is War UST from...Vocalchu, I think? I'm not sure to be completely honest. It came in a "Pack" with the Princess Mononoke UST I wanted.

Anyways. I had my UTAUloid sing it and I have the wav file, but everything sounds really off when I try to match it up to the audio.

I know it's not supposed to be as simple as just flopping the vocal track in, moving it to the right spot, and voila. But. This is getting a bit frustrating. ;-;

It just doesn't sound accurate at all. Some parts take too long, which throw off other parts. Which in turn throw off more parts.

tl;dr - Can someone mix it for me? :< I have the Off vocal and the vocal track. I just can't seem to mix them proper for the life of me.

If anyone would like to take a stab at it, here are the files.

an easy way to do it is just to go through verse by verse in AUDACITY and cut the endings off notes that are too long or delete spaces if verses are too stretched from each other... it doesn't take too much time and then you can just throw on FX in Reaper or another program~

I always get the bad ones. ;-; My Daughter of Evil was apparently all kinds of fubar too. :T

Has there been any fix to not being able to import VSQs into UTAU? D: I made another thread for it..but I never got any replies. The error I get is in Japanese so I'm not sure if it's the Bad Number error or not.

I may not release this Love is War until I figure that out. xD See if the VSQ I have for it is any better.

The .VSQ is the same thing as the .UST since it's made by the same person.

I actually found the problem! I was getting the Bad Name/Number error. I kept seeing things that said "It's in Japanese and that isn't supported" but the filename itself was written in English. So, just for s's and g's, I changed the name to something random. Works fine now! Weird, no? D:
