New group: Utaloids

hey guys, i thought it might be fun to start an utau group :D

Utaloids are utauloids based on uta/defoko/defuo

Make an utaloid now and post it >:D

Utaloids:
01 - Rukasu
02 - ???
03 - ???
04 - ???
05 - ???

Sorry, this is canceled, UTAU is dead to me now and I probably wont be making UTAUloids anymore. I have canceled all my UTAUs so you cannot download them. I will not be making utaus anymore.

I'll start on one as soon as I finish my to-do list.

Well, this is slightly more original than desuloids or pitchbends.

I think it would be better to just make one really good utau instead of making a bunch of bad-sounding ones (or ones ripped based off of existing utaus). There's so much to do with one utau, preffix maps, vcvs, cv-vcs, appends, and who knows what else.

Pitchloids like this are a very touchy subject around here.

So long as you plan to pitch-edit IN the UTAU software, for instance use gender flags, I'd say proceed with caution. Beyond fanmade genderbends (as in exactly male-to-female, or vice versa) it's a little iffy.

And absolutely NO editing already-made songs in Audacity.

Using their designs makes little sense too :/
Why not just make your own design and your own series, rather than trying to extend one that someone else (namely the UTAU inventor himself) made?

Besides, having human voices for Defoko/Defuo/Defosuke or any of the existing Utanes makes even less sense since they're MEANT to be robotic... they're created entirely by the computer (voicebanks made from a text-to-speech computer voice)

Also it'd be along the same lines as your Teto cousin: relating your own UTAU too closely to another person's without their permission.

Just because it's a bad idea to make UTAUs based on other people's copyrighted material?

Why not just make something original to you? Your own voice, your own design? It's not hard. And it's fun.
