FL Studio.
Head over to the website, and grab the demo. Install it.
Then head over to this thread and check out the 3rd post for a registry key, and run it. It will crack most imageline products to their full versions. (Image-line believes in life-time updates when you buy FL Studio and it's other programs, so chances are more likely than not that it will crack even FL Studio 10.)
Using the Piano Roll in FL Studio, you can make and edit and play back MIDIs.
