But you realize the UST is by the creator of the song, and most people fail at it because they don't re-string it and use the VSQ instead of the batch file? ._. you could just use the batch file, set the mod to 0 and off you go, since it's SUPPOSED to be kinda robotic.

I might be coming in here late, but PianoChan, she was just trying to help. She was saying that there is an official VSQ/UST in case you didn't know of it, and having a base to work on does help a lot. If you wish to continue making your own, it's fine.

And actually, using the VSQs is just as involved... it's in about 20 parts. But it has the notes and timing. You just have to fix lyrics. That's why she mentioned the batch files, those have uncorrupted lyrics, whereas the VSQs are perfectly fine but the lyrics are screwy. When I used the VSQs ages ago though I could only use romaji so I had to re-type the lyrics anyway...

I'll explain it again, only the short version:

It came off as "I know it all. SO here lemme tell you" I made a MENTION in the top of my post that I was MAKING one even if there ARE official ones out. That I HAVE been working on it for a long while, and am just now getting around to finishing and putting the lyrics. I KNEW about the other one. I even mentioned that I was doing this because: It didn't work for me even though I TRIED.

No, that's the thing, you didn't clarify clearly enough. ; n; That's why I even mentioned it.

You basically said "The other UST was bad", so I assumed you were using an unofficial one/converted one, because 1) you said UST, whereas the included files in the official are .bat and .vsq and 2)I always saw the official batch files as decent...

Your UST would be of use anyway, it's good and it's in less parts, which would be useful in itself. OTL

I just wanted to clarify Halo's words and try to help her out as a friend.
As I said, I came in late after the first post was already deleted. So I do not know if you specified that you knew of the original USTs or not.

If you wish to create your own, I do not see the problem in continuing. You shouldn't let other people's advice get to you that much: you can chose to follow it or not, no matter what tone it is in.

As I said to Halo over MSN she might have rephrased, but IMO, there was no malice or condescending in her words and she didn't mean to sound the way you have taken her to sound.

Please do continue with your UST if you so wish, I am sure many people in the community would love to have one that isn't a broken-lyrics VSQ in 20 separate pieces.

I don't see a POINT to continuing. Because it seems every time I START something, someone finds something to say that ruins my confidence to finish it. Sorry, but that happens a lot to me recently. So I might, I might not. Dunno yet.
