Looking for UTAU Users who play instruments~

Please note, I'm just taking a sort of census at the moment. I have some plans for projects in the future but probably not until winter break xD I have too much going on in real life and online right now to handle any more.


BUT ANYWAY


I am looking for UTAU users who play instruments C: Any sort of instruments at all, and who are fairly good at them. I mean if you can at least read and play music at a comfortable speed in a time signature other than 4/4 time and are confident enough to record your playing and post online, I'd consider you good xD

If you play an instrument or instruments, post them here, along with your # of years experience~!

(For the record, I've played piano for 14 years and some flute through middle and high school)

I've played piano for a while, but you're probably better than me. xD; I play guitar pretty well, also. I've been playing that for a few years. ouob

Mostly rhythm guitar stuff, though. If you needed super awesome guitar solos, my brother would be happy to help. bouob XD

I play the drums, but hometaught, can't read music and my set is at the repair at the moment.

Me me!! flute and recorder and uh....a bottle? and...oh yeah i can whistle!

...just kidding. flute. I've been playing flute for...uh...6 yrs.
and learning guitar.

I learnt harp during four years or something like that

But I gave up because the teacher didn't know it was a passion or a hobby for me, and not my future work =o=" and because of annoying music lessons...

So now, I do improvisations with my harp (and strangely, it sounds better improvised than played with a score o_o )

And after, like loads of teenagers, I played flute at high school xD


Finally, I found the harmonica of one of my grand-uncle but I think the instrument I use more isn't harp but...

...my sucking voice xD

On second thought, nevermind reading music. ^^;
I know plenty of people who can play amazingly just by ear. Perhaps if you guys would be willing to play a bit and record, and send me examples...? ;u;

I just want to get a prospective list of musicians on the forum~

I've been planning to record myself playing anyway.

I play drums, but even though I had lessons for four years now I'm probably not quite at the standard you gave.. Also not confident at all.. But once I get my drum kit perhaps I'll try~

Clarinet. For 2 years. Considered best in my class.
Stopped playing it, most likely forgot how to play. XD

I play bass and acoustic guitar but I have NO idea how to record without it sounding like unripe doo-doo covered banana. XD;; Any tips?

I've played clarinet for...*counts*

6 years. I'm like super scared, I didn't realize it had been that long.

I've been playing the piano for almost 8 years now, though now that I'm out of my music school, I've been playing less and less. I'm pretty confident in my note-reading abilities though.

Also, seconding the request for some tips on making a good recording. I doubt a piano can be directly connected to a computer though XD

I can play the flute, and the chinese bamboo flute. And some weird odd Chinese flute that's not made out of bamboo but has generally the same fingerings.

Can't read music for the latter two though, and it's been so long since the first one I doubt my fingerings... xD;;

Flute for 4 years and Piano for 3 years, although I focus more on Flute.

My note reading skills are....okay, but I often get the timing wrong OTL but if someone plays out the tune for me first, I can get the hang of it faster. =w=;;

I've played the recorder flute for.... approximately 5 minutes, collectively. And about 3-4 mins whacking guitar strings.
