I need opinions

so this is Arissa and Sephie.
Arissa is the first singer.
then sephie
and so on.
there is a long long pause at the start.
But Im afraid they sound a little too similar.
ive gotten the opinion that sephie is more lolli and arissa is tomboyish but im scared DX

They don't sound similiar at all.

hmm weird the only thing different is the slight muffle and the accents. I have a southern accent you can ask skye and koharurei~ lenexia is German xD
but i mean the tone of voice when they sing at the end together it just sounds like sephie had depth to her voice. ^^;; ive gotten opinions for halo and aline DX

Is Arissa's oto a copy of Sephie's that was slightly edited?

If that's the case, then it's a really bad idea to do that, so I've been told.

Everything in the oto should be unique to the character. So I say starting the oto from scratch would be the best option.

But I wouldn't really know since well, I've never done a successful oto at all XD

no. -.- its her voice. Lenexia's is close to mine. I listened to all the recordings.
I know how t ooto and everything is unique to her. and I started from scratch ^^;;
Nothing is a mimic of sephie..
XD Im not that lazy. Plus even if you copy a oto you have to alter things for that character so its still unique just gives you guide lines thats what i was doing with nanashi's oto... but he needs to rerecord everything cause suddenly all his files have buzzing ^^;; yoru couldnt even fix.

I wouldn't know because I can't hear right now. I forgot my earphones and I just got off of Spring Break so I'm back at college xD

My opinion is the very opposite. I think Arissa sounds way more loli and younger while Sephie has gone mature (Arissa is the first to sing correct?)

Sephie also has an accent when she sings, sort of like that American accent going on (not saying it's bad thing, you can CLEARLY hear my Spanish accent in my samples, especially the ones with "u"s in them xD)

Arissa sounds rather European not exactly German.

At least to me, there's a major difference.

For example "TO RI NO NAI" (or something) that part you can clearly hear the accent for Sephie

So no, they don't sound similar to me.

Im currently helping nanashi make this ust for his demo.
Im not allowed to release the full song ^^;
but since its a very simple song i use it to test my otos on.
Its weird... Im getting the complete opposite of what your saying xD THat arissa has more of a tomboy sound and sephie sounds lolli. >.> sephie has a southern accent im just good at hiding it XD cause i know how to hide it in my own voice.

Not because of the muffledness but because the tone of their voices.

But if you feel they are too similar, there's always the option of either re-recording or using flags.

Now I better find myself a good MIDI creator to work on this Blue Moon midi...

I didnt record its lenexia so yea i dont want to ask her to rerecord and at the end of the song sephie and ari are singing together~
