Ffff I might have to stick with the old resampler for Hikari until this one is bugfix'd. xD
In her range of about three keys, she sounds amazing, but when she goes low she sounds scratchy and when she goes high she sounds whiny. xD
Yume sounds so good with this though. >///<

I just talked to sango312. She says the high notes sound like they're sung with breath intake...not good. Also, Myst says it took away the last remnants of Aiko's treble...

I'm having the same problem, Kazuko sounds really nasally on high notes. o.o It's weird.

Ahhh.... I love this resampler.
It is a beta though, so there are some flaws.
While using Keiti, there's some kind of high-pitched background noise going through the samples....
But that's pretty much it from my end. ^^; Otherwise, when I sing along, it sounds exactly like me. XD;
EDIT: In other words, don't hit the no formant filter check box.

I tested with Aline, she sounds better; Ren tested with Yohji, most of his static is removed. I tested with Yue SOFT, his "e" went all staticy, but he was fine otherwise.

I guess this resampler favors low-quality recordings, but not sure.

Someone should make the fire proof/ultimate test (?) and test TREE. Or maybe Fjord.

kurisu does fine below c4 and when i use eiden' and debon's flags i can go pass c4 fine

and it stops working on kurisu's breath1 sound

this new resampler actually works bad for me >_> Kirin sounds *very slightly* better in the lower notes, but the higher notes are now more robotic.

The sampler made shou sound like unripe doo-doo covered banana on higher notes--
he gets so nasaly that he sounds like mickey mouse. OTZ

BUT-
when he sings closer to the pitch I record, it definitely makes him sound more realistic... and less nasal than the normal sampler.

I think this sampler works best with VCV banks and CV banks with ↑↓ recordings.

Well the new one is still in beta I'm guessing the alpha release will be nicer to the high notes.

I have had that for, what, a few months now?
In fact, theres a Hiyori user who's been using it for a VERY long time now.

I think the new UTAU DOES use this resampler, but this may not be the engine it's for, and that may cause compatibility bugs.

For the people having trouble, Ecstasy-AKA-Darks (AKA, Kiki) told me that it's generally for VCV, and on top of that, it'll sound weird if you don't regenerate your frq files using the freesamp, so try that.

well i have a predicament o-o nanashi sounds god awful with the normal resampler (very airy weird effects in his voice and you can't hear his consonants at all), but with this fresampler.exe nanashi sound crisp and clear and very good.

I tested it with Dokuse Kagamibi,and she sounds nice.
But her notes,such as 's' or 'r' still sound a bit weird o_o'

lol i know it sounds very off time and almost kinda rushed to me @_@ it's just a random ust found in my folder and went "meh why not" and i'm still tweaking the oto XD a few sounds i need to rerecord like a couple of r's and e i think that's about it XD

This engine is wonderful n_n (oh, and Nashi, BTW : awesome voice ^^)

I'm currently testing the new FreeSamp on Hayao's VCVs.
Sounds... Well, decent. Not really too much better or worse.
