Kiru is from rukia, my nickname. And since I love the rukia(character in sound horizon chronicle second) and she stands for the white crow, I give kiru 'white crow melody' , Hakuane.

Sokkyoune ---> Sound Improvisation: Well, you have to "improvise" a bit if you want to make her sing in other language xD Also, she was my first UTAUloid.
Katarina ---> It's my real name (Catalina), but I've named her like that because of "La Quintrala" (Catalina de los Ríos y Lisperguer). She was a Chilean landowner from the 17th century that's recognized by being a manipulative and cruel woman...like Kata's personality.

"Kirin" means qilin, I got that idea from a game xD;;

I was looking for something else with "kiri" in the beginning and found Kirisame, which I used for the surname.
Then now I'm going to change Kirin's surname to "Reimeika" = Dawn flower (黎明花). '黎' is my Chinese surname, it means black or dark. But when you add '明', bright or light, it turns into daybreak or dawn, which I found interesting =w=;; Then I added 'flower' just because... 'ka' could be a lot of other things, but 'dawn flower' just sounds really pretty ^^
