OTO.ini Configuring Records? Empty OTO.ini Configuring Records?

Post by suthethird Sun Jun 06, 2010 11:55 am

I configured a whole OTO in setparam in 28 minutes = w= I was proud of myself.
Granted, the samples were all around 1 second and there were only 107 or so samples. (Less than the standard OREMO list, but it's enough to sing Japanese and half the first act banks I find have around that, soyeah.)

Before setparam, the fastest I could do an OTO like that was in an hour.

What are you guys' OTO configuring records :'D ?

I haven't timed specifically, but not counting aliasing, about half an hour.
Of course, that's cheating, 'cause I'm using auto-OTO as a starting point. |D
    It's basically:
    Record in OREMO
    Render FRQs
    Auto-OTO everything
Fix all the messed up sounds that auto-OTO makes
    Alias everything
    Done

The whole progress takes about two hours. o3o

It's a better idea to do it manually. Auto-oto is bad.

15 minutes to fix Roku Shisu's auto-OTO OTO.ini and give him romaji compatibility, but that's kind of cheating since I skipped 40 or more samples.

I'd say around 45 minutes to an hour for 911's 185-sample VB. I could probably go faster with a smaller VB, but I'm lazy.

Actually, it's anywhere in the oto settings window that doesn't look like a button xD

With me, it all depends on the type of voicebank I'm fixing. Probably around half an hour to an hour for a normal VB, and with Viai's it took probably around 1-3 hours, collectively. Fuyu's ACT3 might take me longer, her being VCV and bilingual.

*feels slow* ;w; I can do a standard VB in about..an hour..ish? But I do everything manually, so yeah.
