Triphone Configuring Request? (Internet cookies will be rewarded!) ^^;

Okay, my UTAUloid Fuko Zonbi's CV voicebank is pretty much complete. I've been working on her triphone voicebank (diphone, whatever you call it!)
for a while now, and have had no luck with it. I've been experimenting for quite a bit, and it seems that her triphone bank hates me.

I've read and watched tutorials, including Annamaeblythe's (which helped me record, but not much else). Please, could someone configure her triphone oto.inis? In return, I'll configure your CV otos or draw a picture of your UTAUloid, whichever. ^^
I know I don't normally ask for requests, but this part of the UTAUloid making process has absolutely stumped me. Thanks a lot. Here's her download link for triphones.

Let's start with OTO stealing.
The first thing you always want to make sure of is that you're using a reclist that someone has already made an OTO for.
If someone hasn't, you're screwed because that means you have to make all those aliases. It's not fun!

If there's a reclist you really like because you like using a bank that uses it, there's actually an easy way to get that reclist!
Do you want me to explain that? If so, please ask.

If you have the OTO for your reclist, just plop it down in your UTAU's bank. Then, we have to go on to editing it.

I'm really sorry. I think I might have recorded a diphone list--to be honest I don't know the difference between an actual triphone list and what I recorded.... ;_; Once again, I apologize.

The bank I recorded goes_aiueo _auokuka, _aekakesa, etc only with vowels at the beginning. However, I found a triphone list, and it looks completely different (_kikikukakekike). Since I am kind of a newbie to triphones/diphones, I was wondering if you could help me identify these. Thanks so much.

Don't worry Both are triphones.
Lists can differ, but the only lists I LIKE using are "standalone" lists. "Standalone" lists are the lists that start with consonants most of the time and include "n" as a vowel.
Lite lists generally have around 30 samples.
Standalone lists generally have around 300.
LOKE, Ritsu, and Anaka are all examples of standalone banks.
Camila, Teto, Momone Momo, and Sora are examples of lite lists being added to CV banks.

You found Ritsu's list. I really don't suggest doing VCV in romaji. If your computer refuses to do hiragana, that is understandable. There are ways to fix an OTO so that it is in romaji instead of hiragana, but it would be pretty darn hard.
(And I find VCV banks without hiragana aliases just plain BLARG)
That being said, I don't really suggest doing Ritsu's list. He has seven kana per line. I'm not sure if I can say seven kana in a row without tiring and getting light headed!

I actually made a little ZIP that has all the info you need to use LOKE's recording list and steal his OTO I even have a little TXT file that explains how to fix the OTO.

It's about 300 samples, five kana per line, encoded in hiragana, and took me about five hours to record.
(It's basically the same thing as Ritsu's list in the end. The only difference is that since it has two less things you have to say in each sample, it's easier to record. It's also easier to configure because the sample is shorter, therefore there's less space to drag the stuff around.
(And I don't have Ritsu's OTO because I never got a working version of Ritsu ): ))

If you're serious about making a good UTAU, then recording standalone triphones with a nice list with five kana per line is really good.
(Some notes I didn't make in there, because I didn't realize it at the time:
You don't have to do the katakana. At all. It's there to allow the bank to sing in other languages. If you just want to do Japanese, you can cut down your number of samples by a bit.
If you want to do the katakana, ie is ye, tou is tu, sui is si, teyu is thu (I'm pretty sure), and stuff like that. I didn't figure that out until LONG after I posted Anaka's triphones. If you can't tell hiragana from katakana, I'd say to do all of it just to make sure that you don't leave out anything important.)

I hope this helps you to make the best UTAU you can make 'Cause, having a great UTAU is a great self-esteem booster.

(Try to use a voice that doesn't tire you XD ! It takes about five hours to record this list straight through in OREMO! If you have to pause every ten minutes because you're voice is getting tired, it's not good D: ! You could be hurting you precious vocal chords ;.; )

Before you record the list straight through, do some tests to make sure the recording quality is up to your standards and that the tone used doesn't sound odd in UTAU. If it isn't, put a blanket over you, your computer, and your microphone.
For Anaka, I turned off the heater and put a blanket over me, my computer, and my microphone.
It didn't bother me or my mom because she was reading and using her electric blanket, and an overheating laptop + blanket to trap the heat in = suffocating heat.

And, remember, don't pause in the middle of samples.
I don't care what Kenji and Hiyori do.
LOKE and Kanipan NEVER pause in their samples, and I think they're really nice (Neither does Anaka, and I think she can sound pretty cool 8D)

(But, don't work yourself up if you have a stutter and can't say a certain sound without a pause. Your UTAU will most likely have that stutter, but I think that it will be super cute and a cute little character glitch c: Besides, since it is a standalone list, someone can use one of the kana at the beginning of a string to replace a kana that sounds funny if they just edit it a bit c: A CV bank can easily be clipped from a standalone triphone bank ^^)

If you pause, it will sound like an over glorified CV bank. And that's just not fun c:

Did you save the files in Hiragana? Did you save them EXACTLY as they appeared in the record list?

If you didn't, that's why it's messed up.
I have made a romaji OTO using romaji.org, but the problem is that the aliases would be in romaji. To use the pluggin or any Japanese VCV ust would require changing UST to romaji.
I think I may be capable of doing that now, but I can't be for certain.

But, if you didn't copy-paste the file names (or typed them exactly) as they appeared in the reclist, the romaji OTO I'd hand over wouldn't work for you.

I did save the files in hiragana-- I used the hiragana reclist you gave me on OREMO. They were exactly the same.

So, um, what should I do?
