Testing a new VB/design

Ummm I'm not sure if anybody remembers but a reaaaally long time ago I made this UTAU called Scherzo, and he... wasn't very good. XD;; So after rerecording him a couple of times, I decided to just scrap the whole thing (except his name) and start over.

Here's a sample of the new UTAU's voice.

And here's an ugly chibi-ish sketch thing of what I was thinking for the design...

SCHERZO's gender is unknown but for simplicity's sake I'm using "he" to refer to him (stupid gender-specific pronouns >.< ). He's very quirky.

What do you think of his voice? Also, I'm not so sure about the design, should I keep the pigtails or no? And I was thinking maybe he could actually wear the goggles on his face, but then what would go on his head?

I think he's cute, and I think he/it/she might look better without the pigtails ouo

;A; But.. His/It/She voice, it sounds like a stronger Kazuko, to me.. >A>

But I like the boyz pigtails! ... but not the eye patch (too used).
I guess you can't make fully happy everybody. Anyway, this "lost child" design is full of win.

The head googles are nice there, and you can always give extra googles for his eyes if you want to use in his face, too. I think that way may maximize "stray cat" looks.
If I had to compare him with a famous character he reminds me... I would say it reminds me of a male Momo (a novel by Michael Ende).

I like the voice but I may need more songs to really give you a truthful opinion.

I love the design ;u; He looks like a little pirate... What if you kept the pigtails and had him wear the goggles on his eyes o3o Then... He'd still have something on his head xD;

But he does sound a lot like Kazuko >3>

XD! That's funny, I was actually thinking about using that voicebank for a Kazuko Strong Append but I was worried it didn't sound enough like her. Well, I'll try recording again when I get home and maybe go for a lower tone this time.

Okay, I'll try drawing a better picture with the goggles on his eyes and without the eyepatch (fffff Sparky you're right, pigtails do count as "something on your head", don't they XD;; )

I like the colours

I reallyyy like the design a lot. I love long (trenchcoat?) coat thingies. C: He reminds me of Zuii a bit.

Umm... I think I might look for someone else to voice them, I was trying to rerecord the other day and every time it came out sounding just like Kazuko. ;__;
