Utau pokemon game??? /LE GASP!

Well, yeah. What the title says.

I'm making an UTAU pokemon game~
romhack

I'm going to use as many UTAU as I can fit, basically. So if any of your UTAUs aren't in this, I'm sorry! Maybe another time...? =v=

I haven't gotten started on it as of yet. I'm going to find out EXACTLY how many pokemon and how many trainers are in this, who to put in the game, who to make pokemon, who to make trainers, blah blah blah...
I'll probably leave the trainers untouched though -3-

Pokemon: Sing the/a song! (it's a play on words...UTA TE UTATTE! Get it? No? |orz)


Well, I already know some definite choices for UTAUs in this, but if you have any suggestions, feel free to comment.

But yeah, it sounds like a lot of planning goes into this sort of thing. Are you going to make a story for it, too?

I always offer to help with things, so I'm reluctant to...usually because the things I offer to help with die...but I do think I want to help!! >w<

I don't know if I'll make a real story or not. Might just be edited sprites like in Moemon. (Although they edited some text as well...)

If you're going to make Pokemons and trainers as UTAUloids, well... I with you luck. There are 900+ UTAUloids out there for you to choose, problem will be remembering them all xD

(BTW, make Ritsu a Squirtle pl0x~ ;w; )

Mind if you can my UTAUs as well?

I dunno why, but I vote Ariella as a Moltres and Buttnose as either a Jynx or a Purugly (Probably Jynx, since 4th gen games are going to be difficult to hax)

Ummmm I need some help....before I make any sprites btw.

The question we've all been waiting for:

HOW THE HECK WILL I WORK THE EVOLUTION SYSTEM.

I have 2 ideas right now, but could you guys give some suggestions?

Idea 1:
Age Evolution
---------------
Each stage of evolution is equal to several years of growth.
ex. Stage 1 = chibi-ish creature
Stage 2 = Kodomo-esque character
Stage 3 = Full-grown (adult?)

PROS:
-Consistent use of character
(all I can think of for pros =v=)

CONS:
-May be a surplus of (UTAU)characters to choose from
-Difficult for me to do....


Idea 2:
No Evolution
--------------
The pokemon (UTAmon?) would simply evolve into themselves, no stage 1/2/3 differences.

PROS:
-You don't have to see your cute little creatures grow up~ |orz
-Less work for me?

CONS:
-Surplus of (UTAU)characters to choose from
-Seems lazy
-Evolution frames would still be there, so it would be weird to evolve into the same thing...



So as you can see, I really need help with this! (my ideas suck lulz)

As a word of warning, no one has correctly hacked the DS games yet and Emerald is extremely unstable.

So you have to do RS or FRLG, keeping in mind you can't get all 386 Pokémon using just one game.

Then again you can always just cheat.

Also, Jun and Ishi could be the Shuppet line! They are dolls after all.

Though Sara would make a good Meowth with her greed...

Slight updates! (just wanna keep everyone caught up, I guess...)

1. Evolution-
I'm going to go with my first instinct, it being the same as the ideas of Italy and Miku. Evolution process is sort of "age evolution" and whatnot.

2. Pokedex (possibly may change name to UtaZIP; referring to UTAUs usually being in zip folders =v=) -
I've decided to make 2 pages for each character: 1 describing as usual in a Pokedex, and another crediting the original creators of said UTAU.

Some things I need help with:

1. Text editor
-----------------
I have a text editor (Advanced Text) but it isn't working right for me. I can open it, but it won't allow me to open any text, search for text, or save text. So if anyone can find a working text editor, or tell me how to fix mine, that would be nice!

2. Suggestions
-----------------
If you have any suggestions for this game at all, (and I DO NOT mean about putting your UTAUs in the game!), please tell me! I can't come up with all of the ideas on my own!

You could do Vocaloid... But that's too... Predictable.
