    OTO.ini problems Empty OTO.ini problems

    Post by 0N0R0loids Fri Mar 05, 2010 8:11 pm

I started using OREMO for recording it, instead of audacity. But now, whenever i try to use my utau in the actual program, something weird happens. The "sample" button plays a sound thats alright. But, in the voicebank settings, it wont recognize the files. And when i play the sounds, they come out like TV static. please help Crying or Very sad

I got that too, but the way I fixed mine was to rerecord the files Neutral which sucked. I was using Audacity as well when I was recording the voices, so it's not the program's fault... I think.

    ... orz

Since I assume you're new to this, I won't be mean like I would to almost everyone else.

When you record in OREMO, there is silence surrounding the sample. All you have to do is open the voice configuration window (OTO.ini editing screen)and drag the blue over all of the silence.

OTO.inis are needed, no matter how much you don't think they are.
    But NEVER use auto configure.

...This part is the most important.
    DON'T USE AUTO CONFIGURE.
If you don't know how to configure otos, there is a tutorial on this forum, or you can ask someone else to make them.
