I put the english patch in the "res" folder and replaced it with all the Japanese files. But when I open up UTAU, it's still Japanese! What am I doing wrong? D:

Uhm. What do you mean with "replaced it with all the Japanese files"? °-°
All you need to do is to unzip the patch inside a folder named 'res' and move this res folder into the UTAU's installation folder. You don't have to replace anything.

Kay, so I tried again. I extracted to folder called "res" to the UTAU folder called "res", and nothing changed. Maybe it's cuz I'm replacing the files?

Yeah, the res folder is only one, you don't have to copy the res folder you create inside another res folder. Delete that res folder inside UTAU and redo it from the beginning:
- make one res folder with the zip contents inside. There should be a bunch of txt files inside, and NO subfolders.
- Copy the res folder into the UTAU installation folder.
If it still doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling UTAU and retry.
