Copy/paste from youtube (I wrote a LOT O_o)
- Spoiler:
Some of you may have seen this on the VO or OSUtau forums in the art sections-- and here's the final result! :D Thank you to Tricia-chan from VO for the art!
Read on if you're curious. It is not necessary. I wrote a book about this video while it was uploading.
THE MAKING OF THE SONG:
I actually decided to use Trem for once after abandoning her for the past couple months. It really is a love-hate relationship with her; I get excited, work with her, get sick of hearing my voice all choppy and weird, and leave. Then it starts again. Making this song has solidified my resolution that I need to make an Act II of this woman before I strangle her. In the most loving way possible.
Big Al got thrown in here after I had written half the song and thought 'Hey! Why not make this a DUET thing about the crappiness of breaking up? 8D'. So I wrote a part for the male perspective and fit it in between Trem's parts. Deciding who was going to sing wasn't hard; it was between Big Al, Kiyoteru, and Gumo.
...yeah.
SONG MEANING:
Big Al and Trem had a relationship, and now they're about to break up. Big Al doesn't want to, but he knows it's not going to go back to the way it used to. Trem is about ready to snap with all the inner turmoil that's going on; she wants to break up, but she hasn't gotten up the courage yet. And she's afraid of how that whole conversation will go.
So I guess you could say it's a song about building up resolve. And other deep things.
THE VIDEO:
I had fun with stock footage I had downloaded for AMV-making. And, of course, the picture. I apologize for the masking derp; Big-al's pathway has feathering on it (that's why he's blurry around the edges), but Trem somehow didn't get it (so she looks all cut-out and nasty).
Can you tell I'm a novice at masking? X[ Sorry, sis! I fail! D:
(she makes amv's. go watch her stuff, it's amazing: https://www.youtube.com/user/kiki1607)
END COMMENTS:
So enjoy the video, hope you like, and I will strive to use Trem more often in original songs in the future. Without strangling her.
