What in the world did I do wrong? D:

Hello everyone. Um I'm really sorry for the trouble, but I just kinda noticed this now, like when I type in "pa" and play it, it makes a really weird noise instead, kinda like a pan or something... o_o; Did I do something wrong with the OTO's or did I record it funny or something?

So...your "pa" makes that gong sound? o.o
Try regenerating the .FRQ file, because I don't really think the .oto could be causing it...
And if it doesn't work...well, sorry, but I think you'll need to rerecord...

I tried redoing the .FRQs and while it did make it sound a little better, it still sounds gong-ish... I'll try re-recording it, thank you very much for your help. ^^

Well, one, you said the sound a bit fast... A lot fast.

And 2, you have the oto in the wrong place. Front needs to be back a bit... You just have vowel, but cut off the consonant.

I did see this, but I don`t really think that could be the one cause of it...
And when a sound is really TOO short, shouldn't it turn out all robotic and stuff?

Oh, and are you using .dll or .exe? (and listening again, you seem to have cut off most consonants)

(And at Psycho↑ ↓, yeah, I wasn't too sure either D: But it's worth a shot, you know?)

I'm using .exe right now, I heard that .dll had some problems with it...

I'm really sorry, but by the front part do you mean the red line or the highlighted area? I mean I assume you mean the highlight, but I just wanted to be sure... Thank you again and I'm sorry for the trouble.

The blue part in the front should only cover the beginning part where there's nothing
The green line is the overlap, it's self explaining xD
The red line is the consonant, you put it where the consonant ends
The pink part is until that orange line get more like a good horizontal like, i'd say?
The blue part in the end... I put it a bit before where the sound ends, or over all the part where the orange line goes crazy, if it does so.

Well, I tried fixing the OTOs, but it still sounds a little weird, so I think I'm just going to rerecord it. Thank you very much for your help. ^^
