Kaen Shujoteki Art Contest!
Background: Okay, so it is a proven fact that I cannot draw, and that I have my two friends do a lot of my art. This is known. Although, I will say that I've started sketching some things, so maybe there's hope for me yet.
Anyway, the point is that I want to redesign Kaen, but I want to have different artistic inputs, and to have a generally better character. However, I didn't want to have a contest with really lame prizes, but more on prizes later.
Objective: I want you to draw a reference pic for Kaen. I want a picture that I will be able to show people and say "this is how you draw him." It doesn't have to be a boring pose or anything though, I just want a generic body picture so people know what he looks like.

I'll do this from the top down for you:
Hair: His hair is a constant source of frustration for me. This is the thing that is way open to interpretation. Originally it was a few spikes on the right side of his head, but it has gradually morphed into something I can not properly explain.
What I want for his hair is a flame-like appearance. I want it to reflect him, like how Miku's hair looks like two leeks, and Len's hair looks like a banana. I like the mild spikiness of his current design, but I want it simple enough so that someone can see how to draw it. Oh, and it should stay blond.
HeadphonesI really just threw together the design for his current headphones, and honestly the simple black with red rings on the earpieces is much cleaner, but this is another point of interpretation.
Face: Kaen is a kuudere, so his face should reflect that. Blue eyes, of course.
Torso: I want Kaen to keep his current black shirt with red collar and cuffs, although it doesn't necessarily have to be a t-shirt. A collared shirt could look nice on him too.
I'm adding a silver heart-shaped locket that hangs on a chain around his neck. It contains the photo of his true-love, but he never opens it (but if it were to be open in a pic, the photo would be subject to change. I think this is a nice way for people to mold Kaen to the song that they're doing, and to make him fit the pairing they want).
Also, I want to add a belt to his design. I'm thinking about a red belt with silver studs or spikes. Perhaps a rose on the buckle.
[b]Arms His armbands are another thing open to new ideas. I want to inject some silver into his design though (hence the locket), so I'm thinking red armbands with silver spikes or studs. If the belt has studs then the armbands should have studs, and vice versa.
Legs I want silver chains somewhere. This is a must. Also, I'm thinking the pants should be black. Otherwise, whatever.
Shoes Omg, shoes. Sorry, I had to do it. Anyway, I really don't care here. Whatever you want.
Of course, you can add anything you want. Especially since I haven't really found a spot for roses, one of the other "themes" of Kaen.

This is a preview of Kaen's Act III bank (if you want more previews, I can post more). Whenever I actually finish it, I'll upload it, BUT, it will be passworded. Now, there's some people who have already asked to use Kaen and I've told them to wait for his new Act, so I'll be giving those people the password. However, for the rest the password will be the prize. This will give you use of Kaen before everyone else.

The deadline for this competition is largely unknown, since I have to finish otoing his bank first. Once I have that done and have the password sent to the people who have already requested it, I'll establish a deadline.
