Ok I need your help! I know how to record and everything but I need some advice.

I'm working on Kazumi's Act 2 (since her act 1 was giving me too much problems -_- it randomly gave in and some where way too soft and some where WAY to loud)(and Haruki's act 1)

What gave you the most success? And should I use triphonics?

    confused

    thanks in advance

Hmm... what exactly do you mean by "the most success?" If you mean clear recordings, a good mic (if you have Rock Band or some other singing game like that, the microphones that come with it work really well) is helpful, and so is not singing directly into the mic, so your recordings don't have puffs in them. Also, there's a program called OREMO that saves and names each of the .wav files for you, and I'd definitely recommend that because it saves you a lot of time and work. ^__^ You can find it in the Resources section on this forum, I think.

And I'd definitely recommend doing a regular voicebank first and getting the hang of those before you try doing triphones, I hear they can be a little tricky. o.o

Good luck! Let me know if you need any more help! ^__^

Well what I mean by 'the most success' is you've probably done this a couple times what works the best for you type of thing.

Well I have a headset mic (I don't have rock band >.>)and it records nicely other then the fact that it gives me a pt sound that gets really annoying (its really bad on p's)
and the program I'll give it a try! (I have been using Auducity and its a real hassle)

    thanks! study

    (Random tips from a lame-o)

    1. OREMO is your friend. Audacity is also your friend...most of the time, but not as easy to use as OREMO. Plus, OREMO instantaneously removes static from your samples.

    2. If using Audacity to record, NEVER use the Noise Removal there...Unless you want a Kenta clone.

    3. Make good Otos. If you can't make good otos well, ask someone that is good at it (nicely!) to do it for you, or to help you with it.

    4. Get a good mic.

    5. Ask advice from people like Sourbet or Myst.

    6. If ever someone says something bad about your UTAU but said it in a polite and nice way, it is called critique. If they cussed at you, said something bad, and simply said "LOL UR UTAU SUX MINES BETTR LOL TONYXKENTA 4EVR", it is called an insult.
