THANK YOU GOD.
I went to Mican Donburi ON THE RIGHT DAY YES YES I DID.
Okay, so. I clicked a link and found this:

Wavetone, a program where you input a WAV or MP3 file, and it puts a frequency chart up on an editor for you.
I only just played with this a while, but it seems to be able to make MIDI, over the frequency chart. KINDA LIKE MMV BUT MORE PRECISE.
And you can check and correct mistakes as you go along. It works better with files with less background music, or strong vocals, but I managed to find the main line of Sora Iro! pretty fast.
Fairly straight forward too, it can just be used for figuring out notes in a song for a UST you're stuck on, as well! Just load up the WAV and play about the area you're working on until you can find the area that seems to be the vocal file, find the pitch the note needs to be on, and change it to that. /hasalreadyuseditforthispurpose2times
Then, there is also a program called "Pitch Monitor". Basically, you record, it shows the pitch of what you just recorded. IT'S GREAT FOR HANASU, BECAUSE YOU CAN SHAPE THE PITCH BENDS ON NOTES BASED ON WHAT YOU'RE SAYING.
And if you can sing onkey, I'd imagine it;d be great for normal songs as well. Seems like a good, temporary, not in program replacement for that plugin we were spazzing about ^^
Downloads can be found here: http://ackiesound.ifdef.jp/download.html#wt
There is no help for Pitch Monitor, but the link at the top is the English help page for WaveTone. ^^
