First of all, theres way too many UTAU on the list.
This shouldn't be something to shamelessly plug your utau in. So I think all requests of personal UTAU should be shot down. UTAU used should be well-made, relevant, and able to represent their community as a whole well. This is a world chorus we're talking about, if someone's in this who doesn't want to work wholeheartedly, or just in it for popularity, this will just be like any other chorus planned here... Never getting off the ground and out of planning because of that kind of stuff... So I also say we should think staff through a lot more seriously.

I'm working on a UST for smiling right now... And I'm not sure how more than one person is in charge of making the same UST. I can do the melody and harmony, We just need somebody else to do the rapping part that can do decent Hanasu.

Because yesi decided if you have complaints talk to her. the list was mainly made by her and me last night very few were actual requests.
You are in charge of the ust. Rendering is people who will help make people sing and all that what yesi said.
Honestly Im just helping yesi get this done its all her idea. and yesi wanted unknown utauloids and well known utauloids. sooo Yea. If you have a problem talk to her.

-sighs- =_= as i said before this is yesi's project she chose everything for it. and BTW you wont be singing in countries we are mixing it up. they wont be mentioned. thats why we switched to numbers. hence why the countries list is gone.
I will be off and on all day today. Sorry if you dont like how its going but me and yesi will probably be doing most of the utauloids as well as people joined to be Renders no one is doing their own utauloid... unless they are renders.

Ill add to the staff list later i need to talk with yesi over this now.

=_= she started the list. the only utauloid i was in charge of was here. and I added mainly you and the few who requested honestly this was an abandoned project of hers cause she couldnt get off the ground. Originally she was going to choose ALOT of utauloid but only knocked it down to 60 cause smiling chorus as about 30 from her count. soo yea. me and her chose her doing popular people that i dont know me adding people here and little more unknown utauloids. we tried to be fair with who was in it >.< and how many were in it X.x but yea its kinda hard. she just decided on if the voice of the utauloid would sound right and not drown out other voices. x.x -sighs- why are you complaining? I mean she started this project and was trying to be fair to overseas and japanese utauloids which is HARD x.x

ugh i cant even make sense Im going to nap then come back to this x.x and yesi added anyone who requested their utauloid cause she likes to utauloid as well as she wanted some people who would like to be in a big chorus like this in it cause she lost track of utauloids cause she doesnt keep up with new ones.... x.x

I'm for something similar to the original pv, since it would be easier to display the UTAU that way, but mimicking the style would be a pain.

ACK I'M SORRY ABOUT THIS! ok first off I want to say that just because you all think ONE PERSON did a chorus with 317 UTAUloids (which I seriously doubt, and I'm sure was a group effort) doesn't mean that we can do it too.  This is the first time that I know off that we are trying a group effort like this (yes because you know what happened to Myst chorus? It's not done! only 2 people, D-artemisatto and myself, actually got started on drawing UTAUloids on her list so that project so far hasn't even started and it's with only 50 UTAU so imagine trying to do a chorus with over 300!)

Also yes I wrote most of this list initially BUT I DIDN'T DO IT ALONE! I was asking people which UTAU they knew from different areas I had chosen before.  So I think it's hardly fair that you think one person can't do this alone since, well I DIDN'T DO THE LIST ALONE! Plus I had a lot chosen already and my initial idea was to not include TOO many because I wanted it to be like a start off project and if it ended well we could try to make a slightly bigger one next time and include UTAU that weren't in it the first time and exclude those who were.  

Another thing, I wanted to be fair in including both well known and not so well known UTAU both Japanese and Overseas.  Because if you include the known ones people are less likely to complain and also IT WILL CATCH MORE ATTENTION.  And if you noticed the Japanese UTAUloid I chose we owe their voices a lot! ÑAL's (mianaito) translated UTAU into English! and Kotodama's (MrMUNOU) just think of all the usts he's made available for us!

So yeah the rest that filled in the list were basically first come first serve, and if any isn't in good quality (missing an oto.ini or something) we will try to make it sound as good as possible!  However if the mic quality is just not good enough we'll have to replace that UTAU.  We'll see what it comes down to when the actual project gets running.

Oh yeah, Syo if you need help making the harmonies I think I can help with that since I have a MIDI program that can make harmonies automatically.

Oh yeah and about the amount of utau being a problem.  I want them all to be heard even if at least for 3-5 seconds! that 300+ chorus I couldn't make anyone out and I even question if all of those were actually made to sing or if they just simply appeared there.

I'm sure it'll be a bit difficult; if you need help on anything (except artwork, I suck at drawing with a wheel mouse), I'll try to help as soon as I can~

And in all honestly your posts seems to be putting everything on Yesi, when come on, you are the one that posted her then abandoned project. You are now a factor in it, so could you try not to throw everything on her once people start questioning specifics. It's just not fair to Yesi.

And can we try to inform everyone who's Utauloid is on this list that this is happening? Of course it's impossible to let someone people know, but...

If we have less than five people working on this, it will overload the people doing it and they will get frustrated.
It will never get off the ground.

If we have over fifteen people working on this, most likely, people would start slacking on their work because they won't really understand what they're supposed to be doing, and it would never even get off the ground.
(Like Myst's chorus that started, like, a long time ago, and only some of the portraits are already done.)

You'll want to be selective about who you let into the project, because if you let in too many people, everyone will get confused.

If you let in too many slackers, it can be worse than not having enough people. (Even if you have five slackers and five good workers, the slackers will detract from the good workers' work because they will do things slowly, blow off the things that they were expected to do, and just muck things up.)

Agreed. I have some ideas to ease the work but I want to talk with the people who are gonna be in charge of the art first see if they like it. Also if you want to help feel free to enroll xD

If we're doing 100x100 portraits of the UTAU, i'd be glad to help with art. :D

I propose it be in Nico Nico Douga Kumikyoku style, with the icons of the current singers highlighted, and in the background we could have light hearted/friendly images of the current singing UTAU done by various artists.

Oh yeah, and we need inter-team communication! The art team and the video production team should be in frequent communication.

The mixing team also has to be in constant communication with the video team as well!
