In response to some of the negative posts I have seen... (UTAU Collab!)

We're makin a game! 8D Here's the plan so far (still thinkin of ideas): We'll round up a bunch of people, and have some people do the artwork, some do the song, and some do the video. We'll make teams amongst ourselves (we could have one person do everything, or a pair splitting the work, or a team of three, so on and so forth). Finally, I'll stick all of the names of our UTAUloids in a hat, then I'll draw them at random and whoever gets whatever UTAUloid will make a video/song/picture of him/her (keeping in mind that by 'video' i mean the culmination of the song and picture, the finished product that ends up on the forum's official youtube channel). Someone working by his/herself would get one utauloid to work with, pairs would be assigned two utauloids, and teams of three (or more?) would have to make a song including three utauloids! ^^ obviously there are still some holes in this plan, so let us know your ideas~

I AGREE WITH THIS PROJECT, AND I SHOTGUN USING RENI. 8D

It's a good idea to try and get people to understand others' utauloids. You know, do some sort of secrete santa style thing, but with utau choruses. So, you know, you got a pick of the hat on who you got to use. And, what other people can make with yours. ^-^



Of course, as a small community, oversea utau is doomed to fail (no offence to anyone). When I think about it, there are too many hardcore who are too obsessed with NND and people are trying so damn hard to be japanese in any way they can. So that doesn't work. Why would they care about other overseas when they're idolising japanese based ones and trying to get to be "as good as they are". Pffft who cares if we're not as good. If I like the song that is produced, then why should I care were the artist is based. However as the community grows it will gain more casual Utau-ers. This means that the self obsessed and somewhat "something to prove" attitude will dissolve, as casual people, quite simply, don't care that much. Yeah, so give it time. As long as hard-core don't drive away the casuals, then the forum will grow out of it.

(now I want to make a quick point: I managed to make a whole post without name dropping. Crazy that, eh?)

Maybe this'll help bring our community a bit closer together; have a tighter knit family on here than the hatred that people have been throwing around.
I agree that we should all like draw from a hat so people aren't biased about this and it's totally fair.

I want to use Hitori, but it keeps slipping my mind because I get really sucked into modifying Lavan's Act.2 so it sounds less jerky, and modifying the .usts he sings so he sounds very high-quality.

I also want to use Peanut and Kazune Yoshi.

I suppose I should even out my .usts for them...Hitori's voice is soft, so she sound be able to sing Two Breaths Walking without issue.

Fffff I LOVE this idea. <3 And I totally want to see a video of Reni picking names out of a hat. XD

Well I think teams are pretty fun sounding as long as everyone is willing to cooperate with anyone ^^ Maybe .. in the form of a contest .. but like.. no winners? Maybe assigned to make USTs for songs that have none yet?
