In response to some of the negative posts I have seen... (UTAU Collab!)

yay ^^ i'm glad people are getting into this. :D

here's some questions for you guys:


Would you want it to be timed? Should there be a deadline for all the projects, or should this be an ongoing process?

There are some folks among us that specialize/enjoy .ust-making... How can we incorporate those talents into the collaboration?

I say we assign the UTAUs and go wild with it. People that like drawing can draw fanart, people that want to learn how to use UTAU better or use UTAU can make them sing, and those that like making usts can make usts. Or any combination of the three, if you can do more than one it's encouraged that you do it.

It's also mandatory to make your assigned UTAU sing, though.

Those that can't draw can ask someone that does to do it, edit a picture, or something. If all else fails you can use the box art.

I think that we should start it soon, and that anyone that wants to join later can be put on a sort of 'waiting list' to be swapped in as people finish their projects. People can drop out at any time, and it's an ongoing thing.

It's encouraged to:
1)Make the UTAU sing at the best of your ability
2)Make your own cover art- but it's understandable if you cant'.
3) Send it to me so I can upload it on the Utachannel. *Shot*

... Feedback? Good idea or not?

Moving to projects section.

Should we switch up the UTAU every two weeks or so?
It might get boring using only one UTAU for too long a time.

hmmm... how about after you finish with your utau you go here to get a new one since some people take a longer amount of time to do art/usts/music/etcetc. we should get a list of utaus like hmmm

Yeah. Once you finish your project, you can choose to take a break or start on a new one. You get a different UTAU each time.

Willing to join; Song, picture are all I have time to do, even then, I'll only do the picture if I get a lot of time Dx
But I can make USTs pretty well now; so I can help with that A LOT.

But maybe we could get a randomizer list.
Y'know, like that "100 picture challange" thing on DA, but with only 2 or 3 UTAUloids at a time.
So.
One person/a team could get
"1: Seiya Kiyoshi
2: Aline Enbukyoku
3: Yoshi Kazune "
Then they could choose one and make a song/PV for the UTAUloid, then choose another etc until they either finish the list, or use the UTAUloids in a chorus of sorts?

Although, unless someone knows a site to host something like this, I'd have no idea how to do it... D;

Also;
I think we shove most of the UTAUloids available for download on the list. ^^;;
That way people won't get UTAuloids so often they get annoyed with them (probably already in works or suggested).

I'm... Okay with USTs, but am not so good with art... ^^; Anyone willing to tag team?

I can only really do art after the 20th when my new/old tablet comes in, as I am hopeless with mouse drawing and lacking a scanner (or I get wolka to line my badly photographed pencils xD).

The rest I'm good with and be glad to participate xD.

It's an ongoing project. You don't have a deadline, and as soon as you finish you can choose to take a break or start on a new UTAU. :D

OK SKYE 8D it sounds like you have a much better idea as to whats going on than i do. xD i kinda missed a little bit of this discussion, so could i maybe get a brief recap on the new game plan? ^^; and let me know what you need me to do 8D i'll try and find one of those randomizer things that you were mentioning earlier

@LupinAKAFlashTH2 yeah, I'm very lost as well (and i started this whole thread - ironic, eh) :3 i think that's a good thing. I'm glad people are contributing their thoughts and ideas :D makes it much more of a community effort.

once everything is settled and agreed upon, i'd be more than happy to make a video explaining everything. hopefully Skye would let me upload it to the overseas youtube channel as well ;D and i might make a website for the project as well, mainly because i love making official things =w= it depends on what the whole project becomes and how many people are going to participate in it

Uh, Well.
We enter an UTAU, although some of them don't want to enter one and want to let someone else use their slot; and you.. assign out who gets who. It's an ongoing project and you can take a break in between each utau, drop out, or start on a new one after you're done. That's... pretty much it.
