well i think utauMAC is going to have more english abillity. well i got VMWare runing mac snow lepord so when it comes out i want to see how it works...

i think also that hopefully Mr. Ameya has been noticing the incresce of utaus with english users. Hopefully the next version will have a choice between runing in english and runing in japanese. even if you still need to use applocle or a japanese locale.

So, the painful question is: Are those features shareware only or do we get them too for us who can't pay?

Thing is, USD 30 here is PHP 1350.

While I can buy it myself if I have to, right now I have other financial priorities. And I'd like to know if the other advanced features are worth buying.

No. It's still not as smooth as VCV.

Also, it's quite common for users to think VCV is useless NOW. It's either too much work or it sounds bad >__>'' Apparently. I like them.

Voice morphing would definitely increase smoothness though.

Ugh, there's still only two/three videos for this Engine, though D: So no VCVs just yet...

I and some friends suspect that this new engine was bought with Teto's CD's profits (they must have been shared to Ameya). WEhivh means that even though I don't like Teto, I'll probably thank her in the future.

And I wanna see how this works~ Something tells me that my oto technique might become obsolete with this new UTAU xD; And that it'll be shareware. OTL

Also... I hope this resampler doesn't break as much as our current one. Because geez, I want to throw my (almost new, poor thing) lappy through the window every time an UTAUloid explodes or faints here.

And do you know what might be a lot easier to do with this new engine? UTAUloids singing in English (or other languages as well). Smooth English, perhaps won't even need as many phonemes as it usually does.

The 10+ Part USTs are actually just because the creator of them is having trouble timing/there's a lot of overlapping in a song. I've been able to make complex USTs in less than three parts.

I just guessed after I tried rendering a massive midi in to utau and it just said script out of range... other smaller usts and midis worked fine...

That's prolly 'cause the midi has too many tracks or it's just weird (midis are unpredictable). Another thing is that it might be a Vocaloid (version 1) midi, which UTAU can't import; you need to open it in Vocaloid2 and export as vsq.

Foreign-language in general, any of them with ending consonants, like Korean (=w=) would be easier, I'd bet. Maybe not for ones with CV (like Hana) but with CVC (like Shou).

And while I don't know if this is shareware...if it is, it certainly makes shareware worth something.

It's smoother and clearer, even with Aline's ever so buggy "ba" and "va".

WARNING: It's a beta, so, it might bug in some computers. L flags work the same as N in this resampler, so, I advice not using them until the issue is fixed.
